New Truck Itch...

Exact thing happened to me, went in for service and ended up with this. Just give in! LOL

Is that a Raptor Ranger?

Are you in a position where you can keep your 22 and get a 27?

Surprisingly, i don’t know of anyone on the forum who has both an old and a new gen tremor both. Which is strange, i think, with so many members.

I, for one, can’t afford both but i’m sure there are plenty of folks for whom it isn’t remotely a problem. And if they are passionate about a Superduty/tremors, why not enjoy both gens, build them differently.

I can only afford one Tremor Super Duty.

So i got the best one... the '26.

😝

Welp - I had my first taste of it. It's been just about 5 years with my current truck (~65K miles), and I drove to the dealer for some service only to see new metal. I have been very good at avoiding this feeling, and honestly, the Tremor has made it easy. I am sure this will pass...right?
If you have the funds, you can't take it to the grave with you.

No where to park a second truck here, or I would have kept my 99 7.3.

I usually just use my thicket wallet to scratch that itch...works evrytime. Hadn't had a payment 2.5yrs...'21 with 95k suits me just fine...;)
I just turned 100k today on my paid off 21. My so today said that I need to get a new truck. My wife didn’t balk at the idea… I just looked at both and said I’ll get a new one, as soon as I hit 200k on the odometer. Hard to get rid of a flawless truck that still looks new. Plus 20mpg on 37’s is very good.

Keep holding….. My 21 just turned 47k miles. Short of a bad def injector, dead batteries and blown shocks she’s been very reliable and looks brand new. The reoccurring metallic 💩 paint options and multi-year old exterior aesthetics do not peak my interests in the least. Holding for the redesign……… that’s way way over due!!

You all have great points. I have convinced myself to hang on until the redesign (2029 model year?). Right now my trucks owes me nothing, and I need to do more mods - maybe catch up on the ones I still have in my garage. Lol 😂

Thank goodness you drank yourself into some sense!

Preach. I’ve gotten to point I can’t hide them anymore… which has made it hard to keep it low key from wife haha

Need to start an Aftermarket parts anonymous

That's raises a good point... Maybe I'll start a business warehousing parts for people until they are actually ready to install them. I'll only charge a modest fee and the payoff is that you can keep acquiring parts and they'll be out of sight. You wouldn't want to pass up a good deal because the install queue is too long, right??

That’s a great plan. If you had a workshop like garage with lift you could store then charge lift use fee to those who want to use for installing said parts.
