New tremor

I recently bought a new 2027 f250 tremor after getting my my 18 f250 totalled by new driver I’m very happy with it till I brought to have my plow installed on it I live on the east coast I was not told by any salesman about this I run a 8.5 v plow was told by installer can’t do it this truck only came 4800 lb front springs so I can’t bring it back here is my question do I install f350 diesel? Tremor springs or just air bag the trucks rides great I don’t want to go to aftermarket heavy springs then have to install level kit any thought would be great I just plow 3 driveways not commercial

Congratulations on the new truck sorry your previous truck got totaled. You can upgrade to the heavier spring for the plow if needed.

Ford makes many weight ratings of front springs. You can upgrade to the next level of 5200 or go to 5600. Many snowplow prep option rigs come with 5990 springs but those are overkill for your use I think.

Make sure you get the “Tremor” version of any spring you buy, as they are about 1” longer than the standard spring of the same weight rating.

There are threads on this forum listing all the spring options and some part numbers (not the number on the spring label weirdly).

If you only do a few driveways, maybe swap to a lighter plow?

Another question so if I install 5200 or 5600 tremor springs replace my 4800 tremor springs is simply install them call it the day or is it front end work to go along with it
