Got my first gooseneck. If I did the math correct I should be able to pull my fully loaded jeep tj and my jeep jk I just built (don't know the official weight of it but a factory should be about 4100) so that leaves me close to 3k for wiggle room.
I'd like more but I'll take it for the 6 to 8 trips a year

Sweet! Can’t wait till I grow up and can get a gooseneck! Been trying to justify a reason, but can’t seem to do it yet. Almost pulled the trigger on a 32ft bar top livestock trailer, but couldn’t get the wife to approve. I mean, the two steers we need to move once a year need their space! Haha

Is this the beginning of a custom RV build? 👀

That is the backup plan if the wife backs out and doesn't want to drive the 2nd jeep. We did a big trip to Windrock last year and everyone backed out last minute. We still went and had fun but didn't do any of the really rough trails. This way if everyone bails again we got two jeeps and two drivers.

Not to be a Debbie Downer but with a 250 I'd be concerned about being over my GAWR. The axles are set way back on that trailer which makes the tongue heavy. Speaking from experience. I have a 350 and have to leave the load farther back than I would like to sometimes.

It's all good. I am going to have to play with weight distribution for sure. I have a truck scale 5 mins down the road and have been there plenty in the past. Figure first jeep backed on second also. No spare tires mounted to the jeeps so I can put those farther back also. Got a buddy that pulls 2 as well so have some experience to help.
