Mud flaps - OEM or otherwise

I can say that after almost a month there seems to be no ill effects from not using the 5th clip. Lol
Did you happen to have two pieces of plastics that had push rivets in them? Like these?

I was about to say “no”, but I did. It was just already installed on the mud flap. Here is a picture, don’t mind the dirt ... and the tire is the spare. The picture is taken from inside the wheel well looking out the back/down.

So is your fender liner above that piece? Also do you see 5 clips?

You can see the factory liner, it’s the piece with the two large push rivets. Under it is the mud flap with the pieces you were asking about.
Ive only got 4 of the 5 clips installed. You can see3 in the pic and the 4th is around the corner.

Thanks that pic helped a lot. That 5th clip from the instructions goes out on the edge of the liner and flap closest to the spare tire.
Again thanks, that picture really helped me out!

Just wanted to throw a question out there. How many of your are running mud flaps? OEM or other brand. Who is happy or not with them or feel they are needed at all?

I had Husky on my 2005 & 2015 and liked them. I bought them again for my Tremor, but do not like how they fit the front and was considering buying the OEM mud flaps (Fitment appears better). However, looking at how the tires tuck under the wheel well and protection provided by the running boards and black plastic trim at the bottom of the rear fenders, I wonder if you need them at all. Let me know what you think. Thank you.
My sales guy told me I’d be happier if I took the OEMs off my order and get Gatorbacks

Trigger makes an unreal product. Prices are in Canadian Peso's so it would be a bit cheaper for most of ya on here..

I had the 14" longjohns on my old truck and will be doing them on the Tremor as well once I change wheel setups.

Ordered some today, 14" Long Johns in rock guard black.

I was about to get the Husky's cuz I like thew way they look and had them on my 17, but I guess thats a no go. Are they WeatherTechs and factory flaps the same? And anyone have gator backs, with pictures? Ive already got paint chipped off my flares from no flaps:confused:
Do you have stock tires and wheels? Trying to decide if i need them on my stock tremor

Picked up the OEM mud flaps today, and had them order me the sun shade, and the dealer had no problem with the FordPass points.

But when I got home and checked the kit out I saw that they were sent the incorrect rear set (got the ones for no fender trim). So they are ordering the right ones and I’ll pick them up on Saturday and try this again.

Correct part numbers for those interested:
HC3Z 16A550 CA - Fronts
HC3Z 16A550 DA - Rears
Hey so I found a pair with the same numbers but for some reason it says doesn’t fit my f250 super duty. Any reason why...

I don’t know why it would say that. I took those numbers to my dealer and he ordered them from the numbers I copied off Bills post and they fit!

Nice, do they provide that much extra protection? I have stock wheels tires and wondering if I need them front and back, the stock set up looks tucked inside the wheel wells pretty good, not sure why they would kick up that much stuff
