💰 BaT, eBay, Barret-Jackson, Mecum auctions

I’ve been thinking of putting a 37” on the rack over my smartcap. It’s gotta be a two-step process - ground to open tailgate, then hop up on the tailgate and lift to the roof.

Why? Cause it saves me $4000 on the carli trophy hitch.

Brings back memories of my old college rig. F150 XLT 4x4 short box, manual, 302. Great truck, I just didn't treat it as well as I should have.

That is no Pheasant truck. XLT Lariat would be absolute top of the line trim if I remember correctly.

Hmmm… I was buying new pickups in that day… I may be suffering from old man brain, but I remember the three trim options being XL, XLT, and Lariat. There was no “XLT-Lariat”. That would be like a “King Ranch Platinum” today.

I bought an F350 with a 460 in it that year. Electric windows and door locks, cruise control, and AC was pretty fancy back then.

Yes that sounds correct. I had a 1995 F350 xlt with 460. Had same options

So it has been driven 118,000? 218,000? 318,000? Looking at the seat, it’s certainly not just 18,000 miles over the last 24 years.

I had an Excursion with the 6.0. Loved it, but sold it when the six-liters started blowing up everywhere (but before I learned that replacing the turbos and installing longer head studs fixed 98% of the problems).
