I served in the U.S. Navy from 1989 to 1995. During that time, I was assigned to a great ship. The U.S.S. Philippine Sea CG-58. The motto of the ship was, and still is, “Eternal Vigilance.” So, in honor of that great ship and its crew, my screen name is Vigilance247.

I grew up in Los Angles California and experienced a few good size earthquakes. The name Tremor brought to mind two big earthquake fault lines.
- San Andreas Fault
- Vasquez Rocks
are both earthquakes fault lines that I lived a few miles from.

When I was much younger, I used to be a bit of a video gamer. At one point, I needed a forum handle, and the game I was most active with at that moment was Quake II. The enemy race in that game was the Strogg. I went with it, and it just stuck for well over 20 years.
