Thank you very much to all, I had a great time the last two days documenting trail work by the Western States volunteers doing very hard trail work. We backpacked in and were up at around 8400 feet and finished this section of the new re-route of the Western States trail. Dragging and placing huge half ton rocks, crushing smaller rocks, and extreme exhaustion, (not me, I just documented it...) those people are animals. Freeze dried meals and filtered water from a very small trickle of a stream 1 mile from the site, was what we lived on. This really gave me some perspective on what it must have taken to build some of the multi-mile trails in some of the National Parks. Incredible effort!
Now I'm ready for the steak and "Extension cord cake".
