Glacier Grey Super Duty

Yours looks great, no doubt.

I saw 3 duallys today in the Glacier and I’m having major 2nd thoughts due to all the chrome. It was rainy/overcast and the color didn’t look appealing to in that config. I didn’t elect for the BAP or Sport package when I ordered. My sales guy is about to be upset…

I like BAP and Sport with all colors but if I were to go chrome I think it blends better with light colors. Glacier Gray being a light color I don't think the chrome clashes. The only thing that I find unappealing about Glacier Gray has nothing to do with bumper/trim color, it's the blue tint...to be fair I have not seen one in person.

I’m picking mine up next week. I opted against any of the appearance packages. I like the looks of the Black package but at 4 grand, that is just insane for what you get. I do think the color matched bumpers look great, but they always seem to show rust pretty quick up here in the salt belt.

It looks blue in one angle and gray the next. Hate the blue, love the gray. I think it will be a color that keeps well and I don’t wash my truck very often so there’s that.

I’m hoping someone will post their regular Tremor soon.

I will post mine when I pick it up lol

Not a Tremor but gives a good enough idea of what the non-BAP or SAP Lariat looks like in that color. (He mistakenly says it has the chrome pkg which it does not)

I like it a lot!! Can’t wait to get mine!!

As @Philly said, it’s the black package.

@Chadx posted his build above. It is the sport package.

I have to say, the more time passes, the more I’m liking Glacier Gray. I’m so glad I kept it. I’ve added a tonneau cover and a front row tint and front end PPF. It’s coming along. Still need to do ceramic coating and a few odds and ends.

It still photographs all over the place. This picture makes it look almost white. But I can say it’s never looked blue to me. In person it’s alway appeared gray.
Looks great! I still think yours is the best looking with the BAP and Tremor package. (Which is what I ordered). I finally saw one in person last week but it was the sport package. In my opinion, it looked baby blue and I wasn't sure I wanted to keep the color. My wife said it didn't look blue to her but also wasn't in love with it. I think I'm gonna let it ride because I like the Tremor/BAP look of yours. I also think it's one of those colors that will grow on me the more I see it.

Do you have any pictures with the tonneau cover on? I plan on getting the Bakflip MX4 for mine.

It looks flat grey in sunlight

Aeh I don’t know about that I’ve been looking at this color in different lighting angles dozens of times and it’s baby blue to me no matter how you shake it, ford really screwed the pooch for 25 there are zero good colors for the 25 platinums

I feel like the opposite. In the sun, mine looks more blue. In cloudy weather or the shade, it's flat grey.

My thoughts on it-
1)I like the color, but don't love it. It's a little blue for me.
2)I hope you don't have to match. It was a pain for my shop and took multiple
tries which ended up costing way more than a non tri-color
3)I get compliments on the color almost daily. Way more than my Avalanche Raptor.

I posted pics of my '24 truck, earlier in this thread, when it first came home December 2023. Thread just popped up so posting some more from over the summer, just for data points.

Fully understand that every device will display these different (they do between my PC, my phone, and my wife's tablet), but fun to share anyway. It is a different color in every light, which I like in a color.

These are all straight from my phone with no post processing or filters (even though the one second one, by the shelter, looks like some weird filter was applied).

pretty much sums it up.

First truck I had was a little 4x4 '86 Ranger in antimatter blue before they called it that. A couple years of work and hauling dirt bikes crossed that off the list (but I will admit the pinstripes were alright). An '89 full-size Bronco cured me of black, but with the lift, that thing ALWAYS turned heads. Tried some other colors along the way, and pretty much settled on a darker metallic grey on everything I've bought in the last 20 years including the current two.

The fact is; colors have always been the toughest choice because I generally don't like any of 'em. Almost ordered this truck in starlight-white as the least offensive of the current choices of colors until I saw the GG at night and during the day, from up close, and far away... for the reasons the guys listed above.

Chad... that's a good lookin' rig you got. Same with yours Matt. I'm getting too much chrome with this Platinum I got coming (they finished the build last week), but might keep some of it or color match other parts. Just another opinion; Glacier Grey is the least offensive color of the lot, and my woman actually likes it... so there's some side benefits to it besides being the best truck out there right now.

Very nice!!!! You are going to enjoy it!

Look at these 2 pics. Both were taken on the same day. One was at 8:30am and the other was roughly 5:30-ish when the sun had almost set. The color looks so different in the sunlight and seems to have a little more blue in it at night. You can really see the metallic when you're parked at night under the bright LED parking lot lights. I personally love the color and definitely glad that I switched to it.

Nothing wrong with baby blue. Have seen some great looking rods in that color. But these have waaaay more gray in them than a true baby blue.
