Glacier Grey Super Duty

Any day now, the wait will be over. The more pics I see the less nervous I am about seeing it in person
Did you get an email saying it was built or did you just continuously spam the ford tracker site like I and probably every other person on this forum? 🤣

Post this in the build thread... Looks like I will be getting mine built soon enough judging by your timeline 😃
My original Build date was 11/30 changed to 11/6 and then 11/13 I’m excited and nervous at the same time. Hoping I like the glacier grey

Yes, the tracker but I did get an email telling me it was updated

My Glacier Grey F250 was built and shipped 11/15. I expected some blue in the Glacier Grey for a couple reasons; Glaciers have a lot of blue in them. It's replacing Azure (blue) grey. Dealership said they only did Azure Grey one year because Ford had trouble getting the pigments reliably. Anyway, I really like the color in images I've seen (both blue and grey in different light). Only thing will be deciding what color I have our slide-in pickup camper painted. Keep it stock white or do the medium grey they call "Battleship Grey". Once my truck arrives, I'll know if the two greys will clash or go together.
Was posted in other thread, but here is the Glacier Grey color chip on the hood of a Azure Grey (click for larger image).

The above picture doesn’t look too bad!

Wow just found these pics of one in the sport package. Say what you want but I think this color is great!

I thought the sport package was suppose to come with color matched mirror caps. I think it’s kind of BS that ford dropped color matched mirror caps for the Lariat trim.

Edit- just looked at the order guide. Sport package does not include colored mirror caps. I don’t think color matched caps are available anymore. Not on any trim or package. Lame. Good job Ford.

Still really liking the color and glad I ordered it. I do wish there were more color choices on the Superduty rather than all the "safe" colors they offer (shades of white, gray, black, blue and red). Still, happy that mine is on the train and is Glacier Gray tri-coat.

That instagram video is a great example of devices with auto color balancing/exposure change how a color looks. In the middle of the video, right when he mentions it has "a little more of a blue tint to it", the merged clip suddenly shows the color jump from bluish to gray as he says "and I kind of like it a lot", then, as he pulls back, it shifts from grey back to bluish. Really shows why it's hard to capture this, and some other colors, on digital media with a device that constantly auto-corrects as you record or as you take a picture.

Yeah, I wanted that blue ass blue I've seen on f150s. I still love the antimatter too, but would've preferred blue-blue🤣

Yeah, if a some of the past Ford blue colors were available on the F250 (those eye-burning, intense, super-saturated blues), that would have been my pick. Ha. As for grays, I do love the lighter gray colors be that with other color tint or not. The "Avalanche Gray" is one of my favorite straight grays. Also love the cactus gray. But my favorite gray paint is a non-ford color; the Toyota Lunar Rock color. But, can't get any of those colors on the F250 so of all the colors for 2024, I went with the Glacier Gray. Based on all the images I've seen, I think I'll like it.

BMW also has some nice new greys. I really wanted the glacier grey to be more grey than blue. Just not my taste.

I found this pic with indoor lighting, of the glacier grey.

I’ve seen all sorts of pictures of it now. The more I see it, I’m really glad I went with it. I think it looks awesome!
