Found a random nut

Looking in the engine bay I found a loose nut sitting in the manifold heat shield on the drivers side. I searched above it and couldn’t find anything missing. It matches the two nuts next to the steering gearbox. Any ideas?

I found a weird plastic bit under mine a year or so ago. I just figure, like @Phillbo implied, that it is just something extra from the factory. Or, at least, we hope

I found a random 3 nuts under hood today… hazelnut, chewed thru… . Insulation on two wires chewed off. Tested circuits, no lights or codes. Permatex liquid electric tape came in handy. Now getting peppermint rodent repellent spray. No bueno but could have been worse. It’s that time of year…

Dude of the assembly line has been thinking about the random nut he dropped since building your truck.
Joking aside, that’s probably what happened.
