@Bignc best advice I feel like i can give you is to enter all of this into a maintenance app and use that app at every fillup. Not to track mpgs, per se, but entering every fillup will keep you entering your odometer so you can know when services are coming up and to keep track of when you did them. Never have to wonder. I find it most helpful for air filters when i "feel like i just did them".
Unfortunately the one i really liked stopped being supported a while back and is having issues after a few years of being unsupported. I use Fuelly now but i'm looking for a better app. Its a fuel app, period. Drives me nuts i have to scroll past a full blown Power BI dashboard for fuel mileage just to get to my service reminders. Then, on top of that, i cant even look at my services from the reminders. I have to access them in the logs (granted i can search for them but... why the heck do i have to type out my search for maintenance... in a maintenance app

- hence why Im of the firm belief its not one

(NOTE: i currently use an iphone but I've seen it on an android. If you use android, your experience will be different)
Ill have to look into the performance oil filters. Someone gave me a case of the normal FoMoCo filters so i'll switch when i run out or they start rusting
I've had stahlbus and fumotos. I'd recommend getting something if you're going to change your own oil. Its just a bolt but not having to mess with a bolt thats decently critical is certainly nice. risk mitigation with a nice helping of convenience

I've ran fumotos for over 15 years. Went stahlbus on the truck b/c i liked that someone couldnt just flip a valve and drain my oil plus it had a cap in case the valve ever failed. Warm-n-fuzzies even though i've had zero issues with Fumotos.
FWIW - Mobile 1 in the engine, Mercon in the tranny, Amsoil in the Tcase/diffs.
