📢 DEAL FordTremor.com May 2026 Group Buy! 🛡️

I just spoke with Harrison from Dirtcom regarding some of the questions I've seen in the two threads happening for the group buy.

These parts are designed specifically not to affect any of the factory options or accessories. This includes the factory winch, all OEM sensors, and cameras. Harrison has a SD Platinum himself, so he is cognizant of how some things could be affected and has assured me that stage 1-3 will not affect anything, as some of the members with this product have already voiced.

When I mentioned this group buy, Harrison also asked that I help temper expectations. Dirtcom is a small, family run business. They have some of these kits in stock, but not enough to immediately ship out orders to cover all of the expected orders for this group buy. He said some will go out the week they are ordered, but others may take more time. These parts are made in batches, so he does not have a specific timeline because we don't have a finalized count of each stage. But I hope the potential buyers on this monthly group buy are not expecting Amazon Prime-like speeds with delivery. He did mention that at worst, we are talking five weeks from order date to delivery for some depending on quantities ordered. They can only pump out so many of these at a time.

Lastly, he also asked me to clarify, Heidi is here to help facilitate the orders, but if you have technical questions, to ask Harrison directly. If you post a question on either of the threads here regarding the group buy, and someone here does not have the answer, please message me directly and I can give you his cell number. I previously mentioned delays with communication and Harrison told me today they were dealing with some family things that caused delays, but they are back on track now. Both Heidi and Harrison are quick to respond and have been nothing but nice with our interactions. I look forward to getting my Stage 3.

When I had my Stage 3 installed on my 2024 with winch, like @sarj I have a Factor 55 Ultra hook, have ZERO issues with adaptive cruise or bumper sensors

Cannot speak highly enough of Harrison and crew's customer sevice.

I am in. Stage 2 or 3 depending on compatibility with ford winch (seems fine based on comments above) and front license plate bracket. With the winch, the license plate bracket drops down to clear the winch.

I've had a few of yall ask whether to go wide cornering or driving combo with the lenses on the S2s you order. Regardless if you order through me or not, hopefully you'll find this helpful 🤙

S2 Pros. Used magnets to temp attach to bumper as low as i could go with a 10degree angle down (measured using a digital angle finder). The spacing was approximate based on looking at photos on their website.
For the Driving combo, the spots were on the inside.
Pictures are taken with only the S2s on (no head lights) The photos are brighter than in real life (i did the best i could). However, they are consistent. Taken from the drivers seat.

I should note that while my spots line up in roughly the same area, the TrailGuard appears to have the lights not only angled down but out as well. Therefore the spots wouldnt land like they do in my photo. Likely be spaced enough to see the two spots.

I'm hesitant to give my opinion on what I'd run b/c i dont know if the lights can be adjusted to be more level so the spots can actually be utilized.
I will say that when i turned them on with my headlights on, it didnt really make things much brighter in front of me and that was with the Driving Combo (has one spot, one cornering).

For sure I'd go either SAE or Pro. Street legal or all the lumens. I wouldnt go with the Diet S2s.
If you really want the light throw and the lights can be made level, i'd consider inquiring whether an S1 could fit in that place. Its output is higher than an S2 and with a spot lens, it'd throw.

Maybe

bugeyedmonster1 can ask this question can S1 fit

From what I've been told, these were only meant to fit the S2 pods. I already plan to have mine hacked up upon arrival to fit the DD SS6 lights, so my fabricator is waiting. Outside of that, they have not had any test fitting or plan to otherwise modify their current design to make any other lights fit.

Thank you @OmahaBravo for the info with the S2 options.

For all of those who participated in this month's Group Buy, Heidi and Harrison would like me to pass on the message that you have one week to complete the purchase with the provided discount code. The orders will be processed/shipped in the order received, so please be patient as they likely do not have enough on-hand to ship them out right away.

I am glad to see all the people that went in on this. I had already purchased my stage 3 a couple of months ago. I have not installed it yet but my understanding was that the factory winch, sensors and cruise control sensor all worked. I do like the idea of being able to put the front license plate on it and was thinking the same when I received it.

One thing noted on their site is that they are looking at making a front skid plate to attach to it. I get the impression that that is on the back burner given the reality of being a family run business and it is clear just to get all of these out to everyone could take a little more than a month. But I would really be interested to know if they truly are going to come up with a front skid plate to attach to it. And I think I remember someone asking somewhere if it would be integrated with one or both of the other 3rd party manufacturers of skid plates for our trucks or not. Those would be some really good to know things as we all try to outfit our trucks with good quality 3rd party equipment.

Has everyone who signed up placed their order? A simple thumbs up will do :)
I haven't seen an order confirmation come through and I placed my order a few minutes after receiving the email with the instructions. Has anyone else received a confirmation email?

Not yet. I sent a message to @Dirtcom to see if it was possible to do local pickup (will be passing through their area this Tuesday). Still waiting to hear back.
