Factory Flaws?

Factory flaws... picked up mine yesterday. Just noticed this paint drip. Inside rear passenger door.

Don’t have time to deal with it now. Not sure if I should make it an issue.....?
That is an odd one because I thought they were painted by robots "who do not make mistakes" :ROFLMAO:

Wow! Never seen one that bad.

I can't recall a pickup that was completely sealed. It becomes readily apparent when you have camper shells.

Also, surface rust on metal components happens. Its science. Also depends on where it was built or where it sat during transit
Only 2 days old & I notice daylight between bed wall & bed floor as well as rust on case & shaft.
This is my first new truck since 2005. Is this a 'they just don't make em' like they used to' flaw I should overlook...is this normal!?
Ordered in Oct. dealer strung me along until 2 weeks ago when I got ahold of the KY. Plant Manager myself to get my truck built on my own. I JUST took delivery 2 days ago, swapped tires, got it home & now notice this.
I can't help but feel surrounded by incompetence.View attachment 19502View attachment 19503View attachment 19504
Your Tremor will easily last 15 to 20 years if maintained. Everything mentioned in this thread so far is cosmetic. The gaps in the bed panels are by design. If Toyota made trucks with aluminum bodies they would have to use the same techniques if they wanted to make the bodies last. Like someone said in another thread these aren't Camrys, Accords or Beamers. They are heavy duty on and off highway, high capacity trucks, not show cars. ? ?
I hope mine last 30 years. I plan on keeping it and got a lifetime warranty. I still have a 77 150 4x4 that was my first truck so I hope it’s good to me.

Maybe a touch up by the rail yard or transpor?

Is anybody else’s bottom of the doors (like the very bottom that you can’t see unless your under the truck) feel like the craziest orange peel ever. I honestly don’t care as I can’t even see it but threw me off when I felt it.

Yes. I think it's by design. I believe it has something to do with deflecting debris from the road to prevent chipping. Not 100% though.

It’s rock guard. Vehicles have had that for years. In the early 90s Ford did it along the bottom 4-6 inches of trucks and SUVs

I kinda figured that was its intention. My newest car prior to this was a 2010 avalanche and it didn’t have it. It seemed too well placed to be a “defect or flaw” thanks for the reply.
