Touch of context for why the OEM has 3 lights, just as a fun fact: it’s required by law.

For trucks who need clearance lights (80 inches or wider) you need to have 3 distinct lights in the center, along with one on each side at the widest point. For the dually trucks, that’s why the light looks like it does.

Agreed that the single solid bar looks great, though! And zero legal concerns with it since you don’t need clearance lights and are just doing it for the looks.

I owned a Hummer H2 SUT back in the day. I loved the running lights.

Hey guys, I ordered a harness from limitless last week... just got this email just in case anyone else was experiencing a delay

Limitless Autoworks has been greatly affected by Hurricane Ida. Due to damage caused by severe flooding, all orders will be delayed.

Current orders will be fulfilled in approximately two (2) weeks. Future orders placed beyond 9/7/2021 may be delayed an additional two (2) weeks

I did the same this evening on my black Tremor (I just picked up this past Saturday) - basically looks like the photo above. Came out nice - looks stock. I like having more rearward visibility to approaching tail traffic.

I am going to get this job done this week - I have been looking forward to this one. I have been waiting for it to warm up a bit, and I think the 40's are warm enough. lol

So to refresh those folks on here that may not know - I bought the brake light and harness from limitless.

When I install this, it seems like some of the work is already done for me with the harness (based on what I see/remember on Arod's video) - OR - do I need to open the factory harness, disassemble, cut wires, and spice wires?

You need to insert a pin into one of the factory harnesses. Ptt arod shows this:

I just did mine yesterday. It’s pretty easy. Don’t necessarily follow the video included in the instructions that limitless sent as it shows splicing. Since then he’s created the connector option which only needs one pin landed into an existing connector. Did the whole install in about 35 minutes on the floor in my garage.

Ok - this is what my gut was telling me. That pin install with the ground will be pretty cake, I'd think. Happy to nail that down this week and post some pics.

Yep, your portion of the harness work is attaching the ground to the existing ground location on the driver's side, and inserting the pin in the existing connector on the passenger side. Don't forgot to break the plastic tab away in the connector or you won't be able to insert the pin fully. Happy to help with any questions if you have any along the way!

Take your time handling the connector once the lock piece is out. You really don't want to try and figure out the right slot for each pin if the drop it

.

Also smear some dielectric grease in there before you plug it all back it.
