Driver's side door lock

I have a 2022 F-350 Lariat Crewcab Diesel Tremor, dual alternators, power inverter & the passive entry system.
Recently the lock on my driver's side door won't unlock/lock. When I grab the exterior handle, there is a humming noise. When the button lock/unlock on the fob, is pressed, again there is the same humming noise & all the doors except the driver's side are locked/unlocked. I have tried looking online, but honestly can't find exactly what needs to be replaced, as everything that pops up, is for trucks without the passive entry system.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what the exact part(s) it is that I need to replace? Thank you in advance for any suggestions ideas or assistance that can be given.

Hey man, that humming sound is the dead giveaway here. It means the electrical signal is successfully reaching the door lock actuator and the little motor inside is trying to spin, but the internal plastic gears have stripped or broken. That's why it hums but can't physically throw the latch.

Because your truck has the Intelligent Access/passive entry system on the door handles, it requires a specific version of the actuator that a lot of standard parts catalogs filter out.

The exact Ford OEM part number for a 2020-2022 F-350 with Passive Entry is:

KL3Z-1521813-D.

(Note: If you run across part numbers ending in -A, -B, or -C, those are just older, superseded revisions of the exact same part, but -D is the most current version).

Replacing it just involves pulling the interior driver's door panel off, peeling back the moisture barrier, and swapping the assembly. Hope this helps get the Tremor back to 100%!
