You can set up both. It’s cloud ready If you want. There are a lot of settings like a company would use to track everything and get alerts.

The best dashcams on the market are like 3-400 bucks.
Get on youtube and look up vortex radar and go down that rabbit hole.
I've been running viofo dash cams in my vehicles for about 4 years now. I think 4 in total I've installed. Work great.
Was just looking at Best Buy lol
I have the same setup in both the truck and my wife's car. Install is straight forward. Hard wired in both.

Yep, and they get you for the extra installation charge when you can get that bundle for $549, install it yourself or for free if you're a Plus member at Best Buy. It still doesn't hold up against the new Nextbase 4k IQ though.

Why do you say they are trash?
I've had this Rexing in my DD since this time in 2018. I have it hardwired in and am on the same microSD. My DD sits outside in the weather, unshaded 90% of the time. I recently pulled video. Video quality is the same as it was back in 2018. Seeing how that Rexing lasted so long...
Bought the newer model w rear cam for my pickup. I have it switched so i can choose when i want it to be actually off and not in 'parking lot' mode since it would just be recording the inside of my shop door for a good amount of time.
$159 minus the 15off coupon, lasts 6+ years.
