To start this thread I have not gotten tested for this Virus BUT I truly believe I contracted this freakin Flu.
I have felt weak and messed up before, since I did get really hurt on the job. BUT I'm really having a hard time trying to get myself back on my feet from feeling so damn sick. I had this before Thanksgiving and tried to quaretine for 2 weeks and felt I was healthy again but after a week I relapsed. I keep feeling the effects all over again.
Do not fall into that trap of feeling invincable. I trained and worked out my whole life before my accident and have been training after as well. But this FUCKING virus is the real deal. I have posted a story back in the day that I lost my friend and Sen Sei from this damn virus. He was 52 in April and a 3rd Degree black Belt that was a desert Storm War Hero who always ran and took care of his self. Caught it and died 11 days later.
I eat right and work out all the time but can not seem to get over this damn bug. I have not gone to the Dr because of fear of being put on some kind of list in NY. My neighbor has it right before i fell ill and gone to the hospital and has been interviewed and checked up on several times. He wishes he never got checked out. NY and Gov Cuomo are not trust worthy IMHO.
I'm not at the point where i feel like i need to be placed in a hospital, all though a couple of times i went to bed PRAYING to GOD to have MERCY on my soul if I do not wake up and then slept for 10-15 hrs.
My Uncle is a High ranking FBI official and my cousin is working up the ranks. They have said some crazy things to us since Feb about this damn Virus. My Catholic and Conservitive views and talks have led me to NOT want to take the Flu Shot if it comes out.
I have heard that it may not be what we all may think it is. I'm not going to spread my believes on what I have heard about it. But please take this virus seriously. I am or was one tuff son of a bitch and what ever I have has kicked my DICK to the DIRT for sure.

Hope you get to feeling better soon. My girlfriend and I went through it in July. We both caught it at work all because a girl in the office went to work sick and didn't want to get tested. People that talk crap need to take this virus more serious. My girl had it for about 25 days and I had it for 27. It was so bad that I called my uncle and gave him the combination to my gun safe and told him it was all his if I didn't make it. Shit got real. I had all the symptoms plus pneumonia. And your exactly right about feeling better then the next day a kick to the nuts from the virus takes you down again. I feel your pain brother. Prayers for a speedy recovery. I've had the flu, shattered ankle, appendix rupture and food poisoning....... I'd much rather have them all at the same time than to go through covid again. I eat a diet known as Carnivore ( pretty much the opposite of a vegan only animal products) and the Docs I follow that are pro carnivore claim it gets the body in a better state of metabolic health. There was some information that the virus can surround it self within glucose and camouflage itself and than will self replicate. I have been doing this for the past couple of years and havn't been sick since. The FB groups I belong to members have claimed to get Covid and symptoms were mild and gone within a week. Back in May I think I had it and same story for me.

I also fast, will eat 1x every other day but give myself a 4-6 hour window, there is information that fasting helps to reset your immune system.

Vitamin D and Zinc are very helpful, try to get from whole foods instead of artificial vitamins, the body absorbs it easier

Before I started Carnivore I was a Type 2 Diabetic and now I am off all meds and havnt seen a doc in over 2yrs, I have no confidence in mainstream medicine

On to profession, I went to school for chemical engineering. Now I'm a scientist and have been for the last 5+ years I don't let that define me, science is what pays the bills right now. I have a variety of hobbies that I enjoy including fishing, shooting, skiing, boating, biking(with or without a motor), traveling and camping. When I was sick a few years ago I found that different medications suit some people and not others. As for mainstream medicine, I wouldn’t be here without it. Post open heart surgery complications resulted in atrial fibrillation. A truly terrifying condition in extreme. Each night I went to sleep feeling so sick I was sure I wouldn’t wake up. With good reason as I later discovered it’s usually fatal left unchecked. The first combination of meds didn’t work. Returned to my own cardiologist with different meds and that condition has been fixed. Each day I take these meds I am thankful for the miracle of modern medicine and modern medications.

I would re-iterate what others have said. Eat, sleep, rest, and stay hydrated. Immune system does need vitamins and minerals to operate and there is a lot of anecdotal as well as objective evidence to suggest vitamin C, vitamin D3, selenium, and zinc are helpful. No clear treatment regimen outside of the hospital setting for this shit of a virus but we do use steroids and azithromycin to help with the inflammatory response to the virus especially if there are respiratory symptoms. Although mortality is extremely low with this thing, feeling like dog-crap for weeks and months is more common and can be debilitating. Stay positive and Pray for God to give you strength.

Thanks Rhino. I haven’t been congested for a while but when I do cough there’s a pain under my chest pretty freakin bad. Today I will be chillin under the blanket and taking real slow.
It’s raining and cold today so I’m not having a great day. I have all those old injuries that ache with the rain and cold. Yesterday was near 60 so I was just tired and feeling much better.

I heard about that also. Just that there was a worry that they could use the vaccine to make the population sterile. Slowdown mankinds growth.
