Carli Steering R&D - Skunk Works

@BLACKCHERRY what would you see as the benefits for Tremor running 37x12.5x18 with just 1 inch lift?
What you're describing as a kit, I think is amazing. Changing to a forging process along with the attention to detail retaining serviceability by alignment shops is incredible.
Looking forward to seeing the product released, thanks for the update.
If your factory steering is in perfect working order, there's no benefit unless you're running extended travel and are at risk of damaging your drag link. I've run factory ford tie-rods well over 100K miles without requiring replacement, but the drag links are another story. I go through them every 20K-30K miles at $460 each from the dealer. That said, I push my rig on 38" tires.

This system adds far better joints that are rebuildable (vs. replacing the linkage entirely). Longer service life, more joint travel for extended travel capability without inducing joint wear, better materials and finish, and stronger joint design to handle larger tires and off-road forces.

Honesty is the best policy - we know we're building for the extreme. Those that want to pay the premium for the best and the benefit it offers in function and longevity should have the info they need to make their decision. If you run a mild level and 37s, then trade in your truck for a new one every 3 years, you'll never see your money's worth. If you're going to keep the truck for 10 years, or have an extreme use case (work or play), it's easily justifiable.

Yup - the front is pretty much figured out. Our engineered figured out a way a ratio-match our travel to the factory stroke in both lift heights, but it required a complete rework and many revisions to get it dialed. We're on the rear now.

Can’t wait for this. Not sure what my shop put on mine now but any time I get to hammering it I have to shut down and restart the truck to turn off the million warning messages coming up

When had the shop put my 37s on they couldn’t align it because my factory drag link had movement and the truck has 33,000 miles on it. It’s going in on the 7th to get replaced under warranty. It’ll probably be the last one that gets replaced under warranty now that I have gone to 37s from the factory., “35s”😂
