Carli-SPEC 3.0" Shocks for the Leveling Height (1.5" Tremor kit, 3.5" non-tremor)

T

If you see this new shock being the equivalent of the Dominator for the leveling kit, and are thinking a 5.5" version might make it on the roadmap down the road. How would you see the 5.5" version of this shock lining-up against the Dominator?
At the end of the Day, I'll do this 3.0" shock for every application for which we offer the Kings as well. I wanted to do the leveling first as I was unable to do it with King given their design constraints in achieving travel. This was a hole in our catalog, not a redundant offering.

I plan to do the 5.5" and think it'll likely be like the Pathfinder - a Dominator kit that will run circles around any 2.5" shock in the dirt, yet have a bit more on-road focus in the tuning with more value baked into the price! My goal is to have the finned reservoirs, cerakoted bodies, stainless shafts, and orange ano included in our shocks while keeping it around the price of a standard King shock but time will tell.

I'm getting a lot of customers looking to add these options to Dominator and the cost to do it is egregious...

The cost to get the same shock from King:
  1. Custom Ano - $194ea ($776 total)
  2. Custom Cerakote - $214ea ($856 total)
  3. Finned Reservoir - $123ea ($492 total)
This is per shock... We're looking at adding $2,124 to the price of the Kings to achieve the same aesthetic.

In short, it's a value play for the customer while getting performance that more in line with what the 99% of customers are after. I shock that rides terrific in all circumstances and will provide an off-road capability that provides a solid safety net for those willing to push their trucks to that extreme. If you outdrive this shock in the dirt, you'll find that the rest of the truck starts failing around it. This shock is PERFECTLY matched to the capability of the platform.

Would this be something you would pick over the E-venture kit? Ideally I would love a 3.0 shock for the E-venture kit.

As someone who whined about the features missing from my '25 that were on my '24, would it be viable to offer those options for those who elect them versus making them standard? I love the way my Carli 2.5's look but I don't care enough to spend more money on that when there's more to be done in the performance realm.

Wish my truck was SEMA worthy lol I live down the street.
