Ballast ideas? Rear ride quality still sucks after full Carli Install

Stall mats are not 150 lbs each. Heavy yes, not 150lbs each heavy.

Who said they were 150lbs each? If one were to purchase enough (maybe 2) to cut and fill the bed floor I bet it would equal close to 150lbs. According to Tractor Supply
one 4x6 piece is 94 lbs.
What's to cut? Fits between wheel wells, and about 9 inches short.

Have you ever seen a bed mat? Google one if you haven't. Now picture using stall mat to get the same coverage.....not too difficult to see where some cutting COULD come into play.

I have one in my bed now, don't need to google it. Fits between wheel wells perfect, I don't need to fill gaps in front or behind the wheel wells.

Appreciate the feedback ya'll. Image below for my Carli order, @DTX2023Tremor yep, Shackles were ordered; basically ordered everything but the airbags. @Jackjam yep, the plan is to upgrade to 37's upon the Duraturds wearing out, can't justify just throwing away tires.

Sell the tires on Craigslist. They’ll go quick. When you buy new tires, look for load range D (8ply) and run 32-36psi.

You spent all that money, including their crazy expensive hitch and can’t justify putting new tires on it? Seems illogical.

Also, I’d check those rear shocks really closely. Magnetic ride control is great until they leak which causes them to lock up. It’s like having square steel wheels. Had this on my wife’s suburban. One went so I bought the wiring delete kit then put normal bilstiens on and it was great. Personally, I’d never again touch anything with magnetic ride control.

I'm an owner of a steel fabrication shop. I understand the thought of a piece of steel slicing through the cab, but if it is installed right, that would be the day pigs fly for that kind of incident to happen. I've got a '23, after I had installed my 12.50x37x20's, my rough ride balanced out for the most part. I know we have paid a lot for these vehicles and expectations are high, but it's still a work truck with decals & leather.

I use Sulastic Shackles on my factory overload springs. Combined with King Pintops and 40 psi the ride goes pretty much un-noticed.

@stufarmer what tires are you running at 40? I haven't attempted going that low yet.
35/12.50/18 Nittos. Carli has a post about Air Pressure suggestions for ride comfort. It's based on the weight you carry, mine is less than 500lbs. I only add air when I tow.

Just looking for any ideas on ballast (other than cinder blocks) to help smooth out the rear ride quality. Family keeps getting sick in the back, nomatter the settings of the E-venture system; literally bought every option from Carli they sell for the 2.5/3.5 system. '22 SRW F350 Tremor.

Sad to say that if I can't figure this out, I'm gonna have to ditch the truck, I was hoping 20k on a Carli system would help...and it did, but only so much. We never tow with it, so we're always without a payload except for baby strollers and other baby support equipment, lol. Just wondering if I should have gotten a Raptor (never drove a Gen 3 one)...but I've used the full SD bed length more times than I can count picking stuff up for house and work.
Why did you buy a 1 ton truck? And didn't you test drive an F350 before buying your Tremor? Since money seems like no problem, and reduced capacity after adding a lot of weight seems to be of no concern, why not buy an F150? Adding enough weight to significantly smooth out the ride makes the truck a lot heavier, more sluggish on acceleration and less efficient.

Install a 5th wheel hitch, buy a trailer and take the family camping. Make memories with them and you all will forget about the small stuff in life, like bumps in the road. Seriously, when looking at the big picture you need to look at your life decisions at this point not tire pressure or ballast.

Maybe a simple but overlooked fix to this. It sounds like the Spring bolts were torqued with the suspension hanging and not compressed. Might be worth loosening the eye bolts and shackles and cycling the suspension, then torquing to spec with suspension loaded.

Still have Duraturds, but running 55 psi front and back. I tried 50 but got the opposite intended effect (made even more bouncy in rear seat).
I just got rid of mine (Durajunk) and put on Nitto A/T's....BIG difference, yes you still have to play with tire pressure, but definitely better ride.

You are likely too far down the money pit with Carli ... but I would personally go with Kelderman's rear air suspension so you can soften the ride to your liking, or more-so, to your family's liking.

Have you turned the settings all the way to comfort in the small screen?
