ASAP Emissions Intact tuning

Been running ASAP TCM only tunes for over a year. The difference is absolutely worth it. The stock trans tuning was gut-wrenchingly bad. I took it into the dealer the other day for the DPF sensor recall and they flashed it back to stock. I drove it home and yep, totally amazed it was as bad as I remembered. I run the second gear start no skip tune, it is easily the best $$ I have ever spent on a vehicle.

I'll throw an EM on tune in it in a few months when I'm out of warranty. Lots of people running that without issue and some of them drive like real idiots. I'd think that the EM on tunes would be able to preserve the DPF EGT temp sensors and safe limits that came with it. I'd be worried about the DPF delete tunes that have no temp sensors. But then again lots of people running that and I don't hear of too many melted pistons but still not my style. I'm apparently in the minority in that I have a sense of responsibility towards giving our children some semblance of a livable planet, so the DPF stays. I love the quiet power of the truck stock so I'm gonna keep the DPF so long as it keeps me.

If the engine tunes are anywhere near as good as the trans tunes I'll be walking barefoot on a field of titties in a few months when I make the change.

He's deleted. My guess is, they kill the sensor as they do with all others that you disconnect in the delete. I didn't help him with his, but I'd assume he has one more dummy plug than the 2025.
That makes sense. Unless you are deleted, there is no way to fool that sensor. Not that I have found.

I am currently running the Edge EZX on my '26 HO. So far, I have no complaints. I run it on #4 mostly because it yields the best results (mpg & power). I also have my Ez Lynk with Calibrated Power tunes ready if I want to go this route. Going to keep the EZX on it for a few more months for now.

Improvement in MPG?
