Am I a Geezer?

I like the chrome. To me the painted bumpers always gave it a cheap look like chrome was the upgrade someone didn't opt for.

You do you... we all have unique tastes and that's what makes this enjoyable. No "geezer" to it.

For me... my last two trucks had chrome. I am tired of it. Blackout all the way. Also why I don't care for the platinum appearance.

See, I think the opposite. "Ol boy bought off the lot, got stuck with the tacky chrome package". I don't like chrome, but to each his own, glad I was able to order mine the way I wanted it.

I turn 64 this fall...so I AM a GEEZER...I went blacked out except for my method wheels....I opted for the machined face NV305s and Coopers with the white letters out!

Had a blacked out Raptor when I was “younger”, liked the look with the Oxford White. The Tremor has a modest amount of chrome, and I like the look against the Antimatter Blue. Guess I‘ve crossed over into the geezer category.

Then I am a "geezer" at 50 y/o. I don't care for chrome. I ordered a '22 MY KR Rapid Red/Gray.

I've been a fan of the two tone since the 80's and a fan of the KR for as long as they've been around!

Tossed around Sport vs KR and KR won. Ordered today.

The Red/Gray is 1000% geezer. But it also looks great and there’s nothing wrong with being a geezer anyway.

You either die young or live long enough to geez.

You might be a geezer, but it's a helluva lot easier to clean bug guts from a chrome surface without scratching it than it is to remove them from a painted surface.

My truck came with painted bumpers and I check Craigslist every few days for some chrome take-offs.

I have a front chrome bumper I took off. It's in casper wy.

Mid 30's here, opted for the chrome vs. sport or black appearance package. Same rationale as most, every painted bumper I've had has gotten destroyed with highway driving and our piss poor roads and bugs wipe right off. I also wanted to keep my truck practical after splurging on a Lariat + value + tremor (all my previous trucks were the equivalent of an XLT trim). I guess I'm a geezer too ?

I couldn't do it! I backed out of my GEEZER mobile!!!! You BULLIES!!!!

No - in all seriousness - I changed my '22 MY to a Race Red SPORT appearance package.

I was losing sleep "Literally". I HATE / Dispise Ruby Red - I was hoping for a large difference between Ruby and Rapid Red.

At the end of the day - I wasn't happy with the KR in Rapid Red. I LOVE the interior but was feeling that I "SETTLED" on the interior over exterior.

I ordered everything exact but the Race Red Lariat Sport. All the same options. With Onyx Black interior.


I'm At PEACE now. (Side Note: Saved $4k in price - More accessories - I want a nice light bar somehow. I have optioned with the winch.)

I LOVE my Baja Designs 7XL light bar. With the money you saved, you can afford it. It's dark out here in the country where I just moved to and with it, it is like daytime. Oh by the way, don't get stuck going uphill with a 20k gooseneck on the back because it SUCKS!

I went black out all the way. I have never liked chrome, so the Tremor is no different. I also have a no chrome Gen 2 Raptor and a no chrome 2018 Shelby GT 350. Does this make me a non-geezer?

On the painted bumper, I swapped mine out for the ADD bumper to hold my light bar. Bugs wipe right off of it.
