They were ok, didn’t wear great, and never really balanced well. Went to the 38in M/T’s and while a little louder, the MT’s ride so much better than the R/T trails

VERY MINOR rub on front splash guards. 2 min with tin snips and prob solved. Had I not had splash guards would have been no issues at all!
Honestly can't believe how smooth and improved the ride is with these over the stock Duratracs. Very happy.
Front pokes a little but not too much. Rear sits ever so slightly past fender.

Reach out anytime! The HTOs are a decent upgrade for the money. Obviously not as substantial as a full carli system or piggybacks but for my daily driving purposes (80% on road, 20% off) they hit the sweet spot of improvement vs investment.
Very easy to swap and bolt on long as u have the proper sized sockets, jack, and torque wrench. Did them myself in the garage in an evening.

Adding from my build post. As with other's I'm still in disbelief as to how the wheel/tire combo really changed the ride of this truck and makes me wonder if I even need to do the suspension, lol! Just because of my Recons being 13.50's, I get some slight rubbing on my pax-front side at around 20* turning...and thats just due to the Roush SD flares not being intended for such a large tire.

I am also interested in D load tires, due to me rarely towing. Glad to hear it made such a difference.
@Jack. You're tire shop will probably make you sign a "hold harmless" for them to put them on... I know a lot of shops won't do it for liability reasons... but if you actually look at the load rating between the D and E Recon Grapplers in the 37x13.50x17's ...its only a hundred pounds difference. If your shop is on the borderline for installing them, show them the sizing and weights table on Nitto's site, should ease their concerns.

When I went to 38in Toyo M/T’s from 37 Toyo R/T Trails, I had no issues with Discount Tire and so far the D rating has been fine, I would argue a bit better ride. It’s the 8 ply that concerns me when I get on the deer lease, but I just try to be careful

Thanks my Friend. For those who prefer black, they do offer that. And I believe they also offer a real beadlock style, but I am not sure if it is made in our 8x170 yet. It looks way better than fake beadlock designs, as the flange remains somewhat clean, even with the bolted lip.

38x11.50R18 - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
2023+ Super Duty - 38x11.50R18 - About to need new tires. Currently on 37x12.50R18 BFG KM3s on Carli level and tremor wheels. Love it but had 3 sets of these tires and want to change it up. Anyone running 38x11.50R18s? Thinking Toyo RT pro or Nitto Ridge Grappler. Thoughts?

2 guys here put them on stock. Bad thing is there's 2 options, both in D load. Toyot RT Pros, and Nitto Ridge Grapplers. The Nittos are 76lbs in that size. Seems like the perfect tire for a stock height truck if you don't tow much.
My first mod, just gotta decide if I want to do wheels as well.

I would do the RT Pro over Ridge Grappler if that is your only options.
