A little off topic

I notice that many members on here not only have awesome tremors, but have other equally impressive vehicles in the stable. I'm patiently awaiting delivery of the 2022 F350 Tremor and I already have a 2020 Raptor, so my next project is to build a 6 bay garage. 3 of the bays are already spoken for, Tremor, Raptor and Tractor, what do some of you guys already have or would you like to have in your garage? With the stock market at all-time highs across the board (and in my opinion quite overvalued) I am looking to diversify my asset base and certain classic, even modern classic vehicles are appreciating in value. So I am going to fill the other 3 bays with some investments that not only will hold their value, but help quench my thirst for speed. I believe my first purchase after I get the garage built will be a Porsche 911, either a turbo S or a GT3 from 2015 to 2018 model years. I'm sure you folks have got some ideas on vehicles that I have not even considered.
Vehicles that seem like good investments to me:

OBS 7.3 PowerStroke (They are getting expensive QUICK, especially clean low mileage ones)

40 series LandCruiser

60 series LandCruiser

Ford GT

Now I know most of these aren't fast but they are what I would personally get!

2020 BMW M2 Competition! Got a tractor and a mini excavator for home use also!

My buddy sold his 06 Ford GT recently and doubled his money from when he bought it in 2009.

Agreed. Those 7.3 powerstroke engines will run forever, however not very popular with tree humping, granola eaters LOL

First of all, good on you for taking care of your parents and the pups. The world needs more folks like you.

Now, I'm going to throw a bit of perspective that some here may disagree with, but this is my view...

I'm younger than many of you, and essentially a generation behind you with two young boys (3 and 1). If you want an appreciating asset, the timeline for that is important, especially for a car. Consider who will have the means and desire to purchase when you decide to sell. I personally think 60s era muscle cars are in a bubble, driven primarily by those who grew up in the 60s and 70s now having the means and desire to buy them. Many enthusiasts under the age of 40 would buy a clean low milage Celica Turbo, NSX, or 300ZX turbo instead of a numbers matching '68 Yenko - the cars they lusted after when they were kids. If you are going to sell in 10 years, this is your primary market, not guys who will be in their 70s. And, it means that what will appreciate is not necessarily what you want to buy.

Now, if you are talking things like Ferraris and Porsche, that changes the game due to the exclusivity and rarity.

I say buy what you like but don't expect to make money. You likely won't lose money, but the return will not match buying a chunk of land or the stock market. Just my $.02, and as always YMMV.

While a garage is a fine investment, cars are not. Invest in the necessities of life and the means to create/maintain them. If you like food, create some means to grow it. Air conditioning, some means to power it. Security, some means to enforce it for yourself. I say this because there is darkness on the horizon. Forethought used to be called common sense, now it is called prepping and those who do it are ridiculed. In Virginia half the gas stations are closed at the moment and people are in a panic. Yesterday I filled the wife's car from a transfer tank in my truck.

It's difficult to survive on luck alone.

Money doesn’t buy happiness. BUT it buys toys and toys make us happy.

Remember kids, if it floats, fly's, fucks or drives it's most likely going to cost you in the end.... Just have fun with it while we can!
You hit the nail on the head right there!!! If you have the means to do it, and you enjoy it....go for it and love it. ?

I have this and would be willing to sell if the price is right. 08 ACR. 2,000 miles on it.View attachment 23555
Sweet viper! I'm a viper super fan. This would be my choice for a stablemate. A gen 1 or 2 rt/10 and a 5th gen T/A with a heads and cam package and ARH headers would be real nice!
