The worst part was just cleaning up all the aluminum shavings lol

Once we got everything lined up- it was easy.

I can confirm that on the 2025, they still provide the male end of the plug in the truck for easy wiring. Took all of about 30 seconds to plug the recon harness in and have it work.

Actually, yes. A lot of guys install them just for the aesthetic without realizing the commitment. Under federal DOT regulations, they are literally called CAB lights for a reason. Illuminating them legally signals that you are an active, on-duty livery vehicle accepting fares. If a pedestrian makes eye contact and raises their hand, you are obligated to pull over, unlock the doors, and ask, "Where to, boss?"
