'22 Lariat no wireless charger?

I mean, does a Lariat without Lariat Ultimate make any sense to begin with?

Ultimate is a 0 capability package and other than the wireless charger everything else in the package is just a fancier replacement part. Keyless entry buttons, Push button start and accent lighting are just frills.'

and the wireless slow charger wont keep up with most phones. even built in USBS don't have the amperage i use an AUKEY 5 amp 12volt adapter for my phone

If it didn't gatekeep adaptive CC and auto side steps it would be a lot less popular

You can get the cooled seats on the Value package. I did not get the Ultimate because there is literally nothing in that package that I want. But, I wanted heated and cooled seats(and heated rear seats) and most importantly to me.....memory seats!
Memory but no memory foam :(

Guess that will come in 2025.

Yeah, though I feel like once you crossed into the price territory of a Lariat, you’re not very budget conscious and you may as well get the full features of the Lariat for the small percentage increase in price of Ultimate.

Otherwise go XLT, save a bunch of money, and spare your ass the heat of these uncooled leather seats.

It seems like Ford thinks so too given the weird XLT/Lariat price overlap.

its actually the opposite, once you add in all the stuff to the XLT you might as well get a lariat value package. My lariat value package was 60K out the door and the XLT on the lot was 58K ...

I mean, you could say the same thing about every trim level and option package. If I didn't need to buy “packages” to get the specific things I want, I'd have a truck with a lot less shit that I don't need in it. ?

Yeah, but that XLT has to be an XLT Premium. At which point, go Lariat. I was more playfully suggesting that if you're on a budget, and buying this truck for necessities, you should just go for the base XLT (~$43k.)

I don't actually care about any of this though. ?

I know you are just waiting for someone to reply to your suspension thread with a unicorn package! ? something not crap under 5k... me too

? I’d maybe even be OK with a thoroughbred non-unicorn package for $10k. Unfortunately it’s $10k with ifs, buts, and ands and a whole bunch of disparate parts and unknowns.

It might be easier to just put air ride seats in this thing. Lariat Unicorn package.

Has anyone found out how to add OEM wireless charging?

IIRC boostedgraygoose was working on a wireless charger option or kit in the upcoming section of his site.

I wish there was a rear window slide delete in the Lariat Tremor TBH. Something I don't want or will ever use. '13 F150 has it and it can leak sometimes and the rear defroster doesn't work anymore due to the crappy finger contact design.
That one I agree, I wish I could have just got the solid rear window, never use and dont need it!

Or they could drop the whole back window like Toyota does. That would be super useful.

I have to wonder if Toyota has a patent on that or something.

100% yes. I ordered mine with the Lariat value package. Bare minimum to get the heated and cooled seats.
I agree, Lariat value package for me too. I ordered the nav and tailgate step alcarte as I didn't want the other stuff. It was never a money issue.

The 2022 I ordered doesn't have the ultimate package as I don't care for push button start, tailgate step/remote release and charging pad... Canadian Models do have heated / ventilated seats standard but I did add the remote start in my build.

I use a Rokform case and Rokform wireless charger. Also use the Builtright dash mount with a RAM ball and arm to hold the Rokform. Its great because it can charge the phone if I'm on and off of it all the time or i switch the plug to go for andriod auto/carplay. It also can hold the phone in either portrait or landscape. I've been unsing the rokform on my motorcycle for years and i had a Ram wirelss charger but i tossed that for the rokform one a few months ago.

My Avalanche was super useful in that regard. Could remove the whole rear window, and drop the whole back wall as well, leaving a 8ft bed only when I needed it. Haled a lot of couches/tables/plywood in that thing. Wish GM had kept the 2500 version of that truck that they dropped in the mid '00s
