2026 MEME THREAD: Accuracy Coincidental. Taste Questionable. Therapy Recommended.

It is with a heavy heart, a softened spirit, and an aggressively refurbished sense of moral responsibility that I address the memes I have shared in the past.

After a period of deep reflection, quiet listening, and several solemn moments staring out a window with a warm beverage in hand, I have come to acknowledge that some of my past memetic choices may have caused offense.

This realization has weighed heavily on me. This is not who I want to be.

What I once viewed as “extremely funny” and “obviously a joke,” I now understand may also have been “problematic,” “concerning,” and, in certain interpretive frameworks, “not it.” Some have described my meme history as “wildly inappropriate,” “deeply unserious,” and “occasionally menacing.” While that was never the intent I carried in my heart, intent does not erase impact. For too long, I centered humor when I should have been centering healing.

For that, I am doing the work.

Over the coming weeks, I will be engaging in the difficult but necessary work of examining the systems, patterns, and gif-adjacent energies that brought me to this moment.

I am devastated.
I am humbled.
I am, above all, committed to growth.

I want to be someone who uplifts. Someone who encourages. Someone who asks not, “is this meme hilarious?” but, “is this meme kind, restorative, and in alignment with the future we are trying to build together?”

To those I have disappointed: I am sorry.
To those holding me accountable: thank you.
To those wondering whether I still have the folder: that is not the point right now.

I ask for patience as I continue evolving into the person I was always meant to pretend to be.

With humility,
A man in progress
