My kid has friends in Silverton. An answered ad for a Ford Escort in Salem and $150 later.......................
That car has been more trouble and fun than anything. I've seen videos of it jumping (at least trying) and on its side in a ditch. Nothing has killed it yet and they've been trying.

Love it! It kind of is an Oregon thing...no joke. The Gambler 500 started here back in 2014 and the idea has spread across the US. Take a $500 beater and rally it on a 500 mile off-road course across Oregon.

It’s been a lifelong policy of mine to avoid sharing holes with my buddies…You've obviously never put a golf cart into a 4 wheel drift across a fairway while racing your buddies to the 19th hole....... not that I have, that would upset the course ranger
