2024 Winch Mount for OEM Bumper

I have the rough country bracket and have used the rough country winch and now a warn zeon 12s. I had installed the warn kit on my 22 for comparison. My truck is a 23 and I have no issues with acc. I like this braket better than the ford/warn one because it doesn’t interfere with the factory acc at all.

Just to confrim, you fit the rough country mount for the 20-22 on a 23 with no modifications needed?

Just looked at RC website so for $640 you get the 12000s winch AND mount ... vs Ford charging 3k ....... This seems like a no brainer lol... And especially if you're saying the 20-22 will work for the 2023-2024 models...... Does it mess with the adaptive cruise control at all???? How long did the install take for everything?

That RC is way inferior to the Warn..

In what way? The RC one actually works when you try to use it opposed the the ford warn version that lots of people had connectors burn up on them before the first use turning it into a $3000 paperweight with ford and warn pointing fingers at each other. Or where they would actually use it and just putting the hook back up to the fairlead would bend the cheesy bracket enough to throw the ACC out.
My RC winch isn’t used often but it pulls and pulls hard. If it breaks under warranty they will send one out asap. If it breaks out of warranty I’ll buy another one and slap it in in no time at all. Buying a new RC winch is cheaper then my time to have 3 trips to a dealer for them to replace a winch.

If we are talking the regular line of warn winches I’m with you but I won’t Touch the ford one ever.

Did you have any issues with the adaptive cruise control sensor? Also, how is the winch holding up? I have a 2024 Ford F250 Tremor and would like to install the RC Winch on my truck.

Thanks,

Mike

I have been running the factory winch on my '23 for the better part of a year now (10 months) and it has never caused an issue with ACC.

Installed the Rough Country Hidden Winch Mount and Winch on my 2024 Ford F250 Tremor last night successfully. There were a couple places in the instructions that didn't match or a step (like cutting the bumper frame) that wasn't needed. I did, however, have to trim the ends of a couple small bolts behind the ACC radar bracket to get the fairlead mount to fit.

Nice! Any pictures?

I'm considering the same option for my 2024 F350 with the 6.7 but can't seem to find any post confirming 100% that it will fit. It's such an affordable option that I want to be sure it does or doesn't work for me before I move on to something far more expensive. Pictures would be great if you have them!

Here are a few photos of my 2024 Ford F250 Tremor with the RC Hidden Winch Mount and Winch.

I have the same questions but just needed to know it fit a 2024 before I pulled the trigger. It should be here this week but I won't get to installing it until the end of the month. I also picked up a solenoid that I plan to wire to an upfitter switch to keep power to the winch off when not needed. I know that isn't necessary but I've done it on past vehicles and it makes me feel better. Anxious to see if I need to rip 5/8" off the top of the bracket to clear my intercooler or if that has been corrected, I thought i read it was but not sure. Will report back when i get it installed.

I installed my Gorman kit and the Badlands over the weekend. I must have pinched a parking sensor wire because I have a fault warning pop up and they're not working. I spent some time trying to chase it down put haven't pulled the bumper back off yet. I did go into the settings and turn them completely off so I don't get the annoying pop-up.

I see that you relocated your ACC behind the chrome grill. A lot has been said about the chrome on the grill messing with the sensor. Folks ended up painting over the chrome for the sensor to function properly. Have you tested your ACC , any issues?

I haven't taken it out on the highway and left it on for an extended time yet. But, I have tried it twice in traffic, in town, and it worked just fine.
