2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

So basically optioning the Tremor package is making less and less sense. At this point I would have preferred optioning different gears in a platinum and running my own tubes from the axle for deep water...
That is a viable option. The only things in the Tremor package that you cannot otherwise order on the truck or add later with either factory parts or aftermarket parts is Trail Control Mode and Rock Crawl Mode. The limited slip front differential would be costly if you don't do your own differential work but there are aftermarket parts for that. The front air dam could be purchased from the parts counter. It seems that half the people on this forum throw out the suspension, wheels, and tires anyway. You can even get aftermarket Tremor decals if you want.

Not a Tremor but curious how long people are seeing from the time you place the order to delivery. Put in for an F450 lariat this week to move the longer hauls away from the 22 250 Tremor. Big fan of the 250 still but been missing the F450 in my life.

Well, according to a guy that works at KTP, they're in a parts shortage and haven't been running for the last 2 days.

Also, my Platinum build got pushed back a few more weeks!!! I'm now scheduled for 11/13!!

Got bumped as well. 10/23 to 10/30.

I went from 10/9, to 10/23, now to 11/6….

10/16, to 10/23 now 11/20

You guys that are getting bumped, are you receiving an email saying so??? I just checked the tracker and mine still says 10/23.

Still showing 10/30. Haven't been moved back. Hoping I won't be.

The bump emails tend to go out on Tuesday’s. But you can learn about a bump earlier by checking the tracker.

Most of the part constraints affecting October builds (chrome pkg wheels and Lariat standard wheels, etc) are being solved late October/November with parts scheduled to arrive.
But late November and December brings in new constraints of a limited supply of the beefed up 10-speed transmissions used on all Suoer Duty except the standard XL trim V8. Ford is claiming limited supply of 7.3 gas and 6.7 diesel. But this might just be a way to make it easier for dealers to understand instead of getting into the weeds about which transmission is needed for those larger engines.

The XL standard engine uses the same smaller 10 speed used in F150, Ranger and SUV’s.

Of course all the luxury trims (KR and above) have too many current orders compared to their annual average and are backed up a few months. They are being built based on when they were ordered and 2023 roll overs.

There is an October time frame constraint of dually wheels (450 and drw 350). Which is solved late October into November with parts (wheels) scheduled to arrive. But then you get into the late November/December constraints of the 10-speed transmission used in the F450. This beefed up 10 speed transmission shortage has been around all fall, but orders are getting ahead of supplies by early December to the point that they threaten plant closures if enough XL trucks (with the smaller 10 speed) aren’t ordered in enough quantities to keep the plants open.
If anyone needs a bunch of XL work trucks with the standard engine, please order them and they will be scheduled very quickly and help keep the Kentucky plant going in mid December.

Intently following everyone's posts. I ordered a 2024 Tremor Platinum in July. No build date as of yet.

Hopefully come end of October beginning of November, Ford will get their crap together. I knew it was to good to be true when I got scheduled for 10/9 for my Platinum.

Wait times vary from a couple of weeks to a couple of years. F450s are particularly hard to get. Good luck.

Argh so no time soon it sounds like. Already did the 2 year wait on the bronco didn't want to have to do that on a 450 too. Oh well is what it is I guess.

I haven’t gotten an email about being bumped yet. My date has changed twice when I log on to track it.
