2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

I hope it works out for you.

PS: If you need transportation - I used a cab from the airport to my hotel (I arrived at 11:30 PM) and it was cheaper than UBER. And all UBERs (well, all 3 of them :p) were at least 20-25 minutes out. I had the same "UBER" experience taking an UBER from my hotel to Granger. The driver even took a 10 minute break before picking me up to clean the car from the inside. I was not impressed with him ... Next time I would take a taxi all the way ....
You can check with Granger too as I believe they state they will provide transport from the airport.

I actually have a friend in the area and were flying in to Omaha. We will stay at his house Thursday night and head out on Friday Morning

Sorry to hear that :p. I made sure not to take the foot off the pedal when I came across the state line into Omaha and got out of there as quickly as possible. lol

Any speed trap areas to avoid coming south out of Des Moines? I know I've run into some small town setups previously coming through Iowa before on my way back from Bemidji, MN.

For those scheduled for this week (3/25), can you post the numbers from your window sticker up in the top-right corner, just left of the VIN? I believe these are the batch number and maybe the sequence??? Mine are 22621 over 589/797. I'm guessing the bottom is the 597th vehicle out of 797 they are building on that day of production. The top number seems about right for the number of units produced in a month if mine gets built early in the week. Then another several thousand produced by end of March. They usually produce 28,000-30,000 if they have parts availability.
Hi neighbor - I'm 22621 694/797

went into build 3/18 022590 364/439 thinking ours might be pretty close together
I was thinking the 22xxx number was some sort of sequence but clearly that's been debunked since raunraun just posted the same 22621 as mine. I know we're all probably wasting out time trying to decipher all of this but at least it keeps us busy while waiting :)

2/26 was when I removed the 5th wheel option (dealer is going to add it after later for the cost of parts since I've waited a year already). ...I have no idea what the first '2' or last '21' could be. Probably looking for a pattern that doesn't exist.

I dont think 5th wheel is a problem. Many are being built with them, mine included.

I dont need it - I only bumper tow. It was a nice to have. The inventory guy at the dealer suggested to try it. I got my build date the Thursday after it was removed - probably luck.

The problem with playing the constraint game is that it's week by week and something that is limited this week, they may be begging for orders the next. By the time you change the order and it gets reviewed the following cycle, the constraints may have changed again. I think the best advice is to just get what you want, especially if it's not easy to add later. The 5th/Gooseneck prep is definitely an option that's easily fixable later, just more hassle and money than factory.

Truck arrived at rail yard Friday now the wait for transfer to dealership, come on transport get it delivered.

Soo my truck, built 3/7, still shows as not shipped yet on Ford’s tracker, but according to the dealer and their regional “rep” the status of the truck is - on the road. This system is enough to drive a sane person mad.

For all those traveling near Omaha stop by runza and get a runza sandwich.

Sincerely,
A Californian that misses cheese runzas.

Well my modules are done 😃 so hopefully the truck will be built soon …

Anyone have any idea on how they prep and apply the bedliner? With Line-X and normal aftermarket ones, they sand the paint off the bed and then spray it in. It seems counterintuitive they would paint the bed only to sand the inside off a couple days later. Wonder if they have a chemical application that improves the adhesion or some other process.
