2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

Me as well. But these last 4 weeks are killing me!
This is many firsts for me.
First time custom ordering a vehicle, first truck, let alone a super duty, as well as first diesel.
I’ve had an f250 from ordering to in my driveway in 5 1/2 weeks. Crazy how it is these days

I'm looking for some help. I ordered a 23 back in December of 22. King Ranch Tremor. Fast forward to December of 23, Ford called to let me know they were canceling my order because there was an issue with the King Ranch Tremor package together. One of the other holdups is the max recline seats. I work in the oil and gas industry and am regularly on site for 40+ hours straight. I'm probably one of the few people who would actually use them. Last year I spent 80 nights sleeping in my truck. So it's a must for me.
When Ford called in December 23 they also informed me that the 24s had Max Recline seats in the lariat. So I ordered a lariat Tremor with Max Recline seats and that's all I really requested. I got my vin number the other day and the image is showing chrome front and rear bumpers. I hate chrome. Is this the default from the factory? I will end up getting them wrapped, I do the ppf on the front anyway.
The build sheet isn't clear. I know I didn't order the chrome package. It was all done over the phone.
Thanks.
You can't go by the Packages listed under the vehicle order tracking status. Only via the window sticker or build sheet signed with the dealer. That Packages page shows pretty much every option, including stuff that is incompatible like Sport and BAP together. Mine says Tremor, Sport, BAP. I only have the BAP among those options.

My truck order shows the module build data fields populated, next should be the build date added. Interesting to see if the new software is loaded or whether it goes offsite with all the others apparently waiting for the updated software mentioned in previous posts.

Does pcm ever update or just BCE?

I am pretty sure it is just BCE. I looked at the VIN of a vehicle on the dealers lot and that is all it had as well.

Ask your dealership to email your actual build sheet. The information that your showing from the Ford site is vague and confusing, but the image of the truck is probably accurate. Can you get a window sticker? Hopefully you ordered the black appearance or sport package.
I'm certain I did not on this one. Only thing I really cared about was the tremor package and max recline. Good news is, I'm in Texas and was already planning PPF and ceramic. For the $2800 I didn't spend on the BAP I will wrap and paint the chrome parts for less than that.

Got this from Ford Chat today. This would tell me that it is consistent with a 2 week delay. Im not getting a spray in bed liner inner wheel wells. Just a 5th wheel kit which doesnt seem to have any delays.

Deven. Your order current status is "In Production" this means the manufacturing plant is building your vehicle. Secondary: Sent Offsite Ford Kentucky Truck Plant 2, KY Mar-01-2024. Expected ETA status change: Mar-12-2024 Mar-18-2024
Same except I'm a day before you. We'll see. Hoping to see it end of March 🤞

The only reason im stressing over the wait is when the truck went into production on the 11th I went to my credit union and locked in my rate. But it’s only good for 45 days. So now I’m at risk of losing my rate due to it sitting in a lot for the past 4 weeks and now there’s possibly another 2 week delay for an update. So 6 weeks sitting in a parking lot and another 2-3 weeks for it to get to the dealer. So my first world problems of a 2.5% rate goes to a 5%.

What credit union are you getting a 2.5% rate?

And the credit union won’t know it’s delayed. Get a check for what you think is close and pay the difference if you’re short a bit. You could get close.

I’m hoping it’s in my driveway by the end of the month.

This is where I’m at.

How are you going to buy without an invoice? I’ve never needed a thing to buy a vehicle. Get the check from the CU, mail the Title or they’ll get it electronically.

Something I was told today.

"Ford has been sending vehicles recently built to an offsite location for quality checks. This is something they just started with F-150 and Super Duty trucks. Didn't give me any estimate on shipping dates."

I found a Tremor for sale at Red McCombs Ford in San Antonio if anyone is interested. It's blue and loaded with options that usually get delayed (5th wheel, etc). I would buy it but I really want the Carmelo interior.

Not sure how one would make it out of San Antonio without having the truck being stolen ... :ROFLMAO:

Captain's Log, Stardate 2713.5. In the distant reaches of our galaxy, we have made an astonishing discovery about pickup trucks left behind at what seems to be a manufacturing plant. Our race against time to save expiring exclusive cash rewards may prove futile. We have no way to determine our truck's position in relation to the galaxy. We are in a completely unknown void. Our one chance to return this precious pickup truck to our own galaxy is dependent upon the navigational skills of "the Ford". Yet our attempts to contact the station's personnel have been, so far, unsuccessful. We are responding to desperate distress calls from an unknown corner of the Kentucky manufacturing plant. My science officer, Mr. Tremor, is unable to account for this, since he reported no signs of life in the plant.

Argh. Still in production with the attached date of 02/20/2024 ....
