2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

Was really hoping I'd see one of those today. The dealer bumped me down to a P3 on their end but with the long list of constraints, I'm not optimistic.

EDIT - Spoke too soon. As soon as I posted that, I got a scheduled week of April 8.

I was thinking I would not be scheduled due to constraints and today is day 45 since I ordered. Ford kept their word I heard from them. Thankfully 🙏

Yes…ordered through factory because price was less expensive - dealers seem to charge more on their own…for instance spray in liners - factory is like $595 or so - my dealer in AZ charged over $700 for Inyati to do my spray in liner - took an extra day of prep to send it to them also…don’t pay more than $3,855 for it. That is factory price. All winches are done at dealer by the way.
Gotcha, I've asked my salesman what the cost would be. I'm assuming since it's also done at the dealer it should be the same price. I guess I'll see when he responds.

Lucky dog! I've been waiting 6+ months... haha

Did you have 5th wheel prep? HO Diesel? Those seem to be the constraints that are holding me up...

Nice. And how long has it been since you ordered? Any tips on how to get them to update my priority code? Much appreciated!

Edit: I've asked and they say they can't.
I think the priority code was just an experiment. My vehicle build was previewing last year and then fell off the radar. We had modified the order a couple of times removing options, etc to see if we could get it to move. I don't have a Tremor build by the way ... Sorry guys, don't kick me out of the club. :)

I did Darkened Bronze, lariat ultimate, bap and of coarse tremor.Mud flaps ,cab lights, supplement heater, scale hitch, block, heater , recline seats and Baja.
Oh and HO 6.7

well somehow I ordered on friday and already scheduled today!! Small local dealer, base lariat sport with quite a few smaller options, fifth wheel prep, figured my running boards would throw me off for this week for sure. One other odd thing is I never got an email with order confirmation, but it worked today.

Priority code is within the dealers list of ordered vehicles. Yes they can change it but they won’t. You can’t invade their private space as a mere customer. The biggest factor I see imo is quota - how many they can order from Ford. I waited over 6 months with small dealer and less than 4 months with larger dealer. THEN there is the list of items of parts shortages - constraints…it’s a long winding road my friend, but so worth it once your truck comes in!

This is how it works. Dealer allocation is the biggest factor, then constraints.

I think right now what's hurting you is the Tremor package because it has a LOT on the constraints list right now between the 6.7 HO and the wheels are both on the list. If yours was a 7.3 or not highly optioned, it might be easier.

Don’t give up hope!!! I was about to. The constraints list looks exactly like my order🤣🤣🤣.
9/13 Order and today a 4/1 build week and a Vin!!!
I actually don’t think constraints matter so much, the list is a guide for dealers to be aware “order this, not this” I think it is a look a little further ahead so dealers can order things they can build.

Agreed. I had to keep reminding myself the constraints list means they can build LESS of them, not that they're completely out of those parts.

Update on my predicament:
Thanks to the info here in the forum that you all pointed out to me regarding the fact that the King Ranch Tremor option was indeed available with Power Deployable Running Boards if properly ordered by the dealer The dealer called me and said they investigated and you all were RIGhT!
So they are going to at their cost order the parts and install them at no cost to me. The salesman totally admitted it was his mistake and advocated for me in discussing the problem with his managers. I’m extremely satisfied with their response and am looking forward to actually picking up my new ride early next week. Thanks again to those of you that weighed in on my problem!

That’s wonderful news HelmPilot, I am happy it all worked out for you. God bless you, praise God

For all the greater DFW area folks, how long was shipping to your dealer?

2 weeks from Kentucky to Decatur,Tx for my 2024. Took 2 months for my 2021.

I would name the Dealer, they went above and beyond to make it right and no one can ask for more than that.
