This is basically identical to my build waiting to be scheduled. I did not order the Tonneau cover and it's recommended not to because it will hold up your order. Most dealers recommend having that added locally, not by the factory.I'm about to place an order for an F350 Lariat, 6.7L HO w/ Tremor and Lariat Ultimate package in AntiMatter Blue. I'll detail the rest of the specs below, in addition to all standard options. I've looked around on this forum for quite a while, researched the Pros/Cons of the options I chose, but would like everyone's thoughts on my build and if there's anything I should consider before actually placing an order. I will be using X-Plan pricing.
Options:
- Black Appearance
- 5th wheel/Gooseneck Prep
- Lariat Ultimate
- Mud Flaps F/R
- Tailgate lock
- Hard folding Tonneau cover
- Bed Hooks
- Tough Bed
- Window deflectors
- Retractable rear corner step
- Moonroof
- Block Heater
- LED roof markers
- Max Recline seats
- Rapid-Heat cab heater
- Onboard Scales/Smart Hitch
This looks incredibly easy to install yourself. https://realtruck.com/p/gatortrax-tonneau-cover/v/ford/f350/2024/This is basically identical to my build waiting to be scheduled. I am right around corner from you in Gilbert…if you don’t mind - which dealer did you use? I am at San Tan Ford due to their allotment numbersthank you
Thanks poopy. I have had several people advise the same thing and it looks like the aftermarket covers are pretty nice. My buddy has a Raptor R and fuck yeah, I'd take that any day. Congrats and enjoy! So my 2024 came in today. I have decided not to get it since I have an order in for a 2024 Raptor R. If you are interested in it, let me know. I can get you in touch with the salesman. The dealership is in Eastern Idaho and there are no mark-ups.
I am torn, but in the end, I can't afford payments on this Tremor and a Raptor R. So I chose the Raptor R.
If you end up deciding to add fender flares, the mud flaps will need to be removed. There currently is not a mud flap option that will work with the fender flare options. If you really like the moonroof than keep the option, however, they are prone to leaking, can shatter unexpectedly and can have problems with the mechanicals. The factory spray in bedliner is OK... you'd be better off getting Line-x sprayed in afterwards.I'm about to place an order for an F350 Lariat, 6.7L HO w/ Tremor and Lariat Ultimate package in AntiMatter Blue. Because you all give a shit and I’m obsessing when my truck will be delivered….it has finally arrived at Granger.I can’t stop looking. Now pushed slightly to 2/6-2/19. For frame of reference, my truck was built 1/10.
Looks similar to mine, congratsBecause you all give a shit and I’m obsessing when my truck will be delivered….it has finally arrived at Granger.
Awesome. Go get it and enjoy.Because you all give a shit and I’m obsessing when my truck will be delivered….it has finally arrived at Granger.
Can't exclude the bed liner without giving up the Black Appearance package. I'll take the bedliner. My kids and I love the moon roof, especially on long trips. I've had the panoramic roof on the last three fords I've owned, never had one leak. I'm hoping it's one of those "the unhappy voice is the loudest" sort of things, or the leaky ones are due to people who park them where they will be prone to debris getting in the tracks. I don't have that issue where I live, so I think I'll take the risk. I appreciate your input though! If you end up deciding to add fender flares, the mud flaps will need to be removed. Otherwise, looks like a great build! Be share to post photos when you get it in.
