buddy of mine runs LP4s as ditch light using hood mounts. Absolutely necessary and complete game changers per him. I just helped him replace his lenses. We just used high temp alum tape cut-to-fit though.

On a roof rack, I cant see how it would impact your vision.

I am actually working to make this same device but for the Harbor Freight Lights (4 and 6 LED).

Has anyone seen or used anything similar to this is it really worth it? I thought they were kinda neat. But nearly 20$ a piece if one lens cracks you can buy a new lens for 40-50$ I feel being on a roof rack impact potential is pretty minimal.

I would recommend these..

Beyond Wraps did my entire truck up with PPF. Really great quality and a awesome small family run business.

@AZsurveyor : Yea, it's not quite as steep. Just enough kick back that it clears the aftermarket flap easily. I was sort of afraid it was a 90* turn out when I ordered it, glad it wasn't.
