I just checked. Mine says “BUILT” now!!! Still no window sticker, so I’m hoping it was built as ordered, but I’m pretty stoked. Now awaiting shipping.

I never got a window sticker, sat in production a while, no ship date, picked it up last Friday

New to the Forum. I ordered a F250 King Ranch Tremor 7.3l through Autonation Ford Littleton on 10/28/2022. 3 internet sales managers later and I am not getting good feelings about actually getting my truck this year. I am hearing that Ford is not going to automatically roll over 2023 450s into 2024s nor prioritize the unfullfilled orders of them. Anyone hear anything on the 250s and 350s following the same pattern? based on the latest batch of build dates released yesterday it seems that I only have about a month to get a build date before I run into end of 2023 production.

I had the almost they same story.
I also placed mine last Oct. and since then the dealership replaced most of the the people . I finally got a hold of the fleet mgr. and he updated my order last month, and the same day I finally received the first order confirmation.
This week I received the "scheduled for production" email that states mine will be built 7th of August.

Ford advised me to have the dealer update the order.

This is wild. My dealer has exactly 1 Lariat on the lot with 3 in transit according to their website. I have only seen 2 2023s even out on the road here in Colorado

Which dealer? I was in Cherokee, Ames, Ankeny and Des Moines a couple weeks ago on a contract gig and didn’t see those anywhere.

If it's anything like my local dealer, they are all lower-trimmed Lariat's and below. Not to say no one wants them, but...

No one wants them.

Sure does. I just looked at their web site. They show 56 2023 Super Dutys in stock. 0 Limited, 1 Platinum, 0 KR, 8 Lariats, 18 XLTs, and 29 XLs.

Ford Pass needs to be accepted in vehicle for it to work. The benefit of trying to activate it early is it prompts the driver to accept or deny the request when the vehicle is started. They'll deny the request. Denying the request sends a message back to the requestor that the request was denied. At that time just request activation again.

You will not learn where the truck physically is by doing this. What you will learn is every time it is started. An example of this is when they move it to put it on the train, when it gets taken off the train, when its started to be put on the truck, when its started to be taken off the truck, etc. Couple this with rail tracking and it fills in the timeline holes for you.

On mine, the denial requests were pretty close to other events I was able to track.

I literally couldn't do anything with it until I was standing next to the truck. I tried it the night before I picked my truck up and I still had that same message. Day I picked it up, as I stood next to the truck with the salesman, he had me open the app and it just started working.

Ok thanks. Wasn't too concerned but few months back guys were doing this to track when the vehicle was moved as the driver would decline it. Seems they may have fixed that loop hole. Just wanted to see when it was being moved. I'll just do it in person when she arrives. Thanks for letting me know.
