I believe the latest for a 2022 is 934 and 4.2.4What version should we be on? I have auto-updates turned on but its not my DD and, at the moment, doesnt leave my polebarn much.

Dealership techs are told not to update anything unless they are solving a specific problem as the updates can cause other issues. Don't borrow trouble. Im not sure I agree with this, but I will admit that some of the sync updates corrected some issues while creating all new ones. Also, Ford doesn't want to cover 6-8 hours of warranty.Still shocks me how few dealerships know how to install updates. It requires just basic knowledge of FDRS.
Makes me wonder how they diagnose other problems, since FDRS can be a critical tool for troubleshooting.
Have you made any Forscan changes?Has anyone done the updates and then had an issue with the navigation after? I had mine updated, and now have a big blank black box across the bottom of the screen. I tried multiple reprograms with as built data, but have had no luck fixing this. From who I've talked to at the dealer, they believe it missed data during the updates and have since proceeded without it and am stuck having to wait for a "patch." I'm not exactly okay with that but of course I'm outside of warranty at this point as well.
I've also tried to reset screen, and a master reset. No luck.

Yes, I have. Nothing regarding the navigation though. Bambi mode, removed double honk, full brighteness C bars, etc.Have you made any Forscan changes?
Thats what my plan was when I go back for service. I think I found the newest version. However there are spots lot of version screen shots on the thread.@22TexasRremor what I've found is...you have to prescribe specific update instructions to your dealer if you want them to do these updates. Check your versions and compare to what we've been posting on the thread for "latest" versions and just see where you fall in.
Dealers don't get compensated for doing updates by Ford...you usually need to have a friendly Service Advisor that's willing to do it while you have other services getting done (Oil filter, recall, complaints, hand jobs, etc...)
I've run into situations where their wifi goes down with Ford...and I have to come back, but just give them specific version YOU need updates to, they can't debate that.
who was the dealer that wouldn't help you ?
