2.5 inch receiver not 3 inch?

Thanks I will correct my post. The 3” would definitely be nice since the 2.5” has a 1520 lb tongue weight limit.

All, 2021 7.3 Tremor finally came in. Went to put on new 3inch BW hitch and receiver opening is 2.5inch? Did I miss something? I thought they came with the 3 inch?

I am really confused now, looked at quite a few different F350 Tremors with 6.7L and all had the 3” hitch as the towing guide states. I wonder why you got the 2.5”?

I thought it was 250 vs 350 for 2.5 to 3"? Maybe its Ultimate Towing vs not so Ultimate?

My 6.7 Lariat has a 3".

F-250 equipped with Trailer Tow Package
F-350 Single Rear Wheel Diesel 4x4 on the 160", 164", 176" WB
F-350/F-450 Dual Rear Wheel Diesel and Gas 7.3L

All other Super Duty Pickup configurations equipped with a 2.5" receiver.
