How many of you live close to the brewery? While I can't make it Saturday, I would drive up and meet some of you somewhere else Wednesday (18th) afternoon and evening (I owe @Canyon Trekker dinner). I would then be able to meet again for lunch Thursday (19) and leave that night.
Let me know if some of you are interested! Also, if there's a place you recommend to stay the night, pass on the good word! @Camarox2

I don't miss those days. When you have your NIST inspection, remember, plus or minus a brick is just slang. Other terms to avoid: Sometimes, you must blink; We don't fudge the numbers, but sometimes we nudge; Move it over just a skosh; It's close enough for government work.I've gotta pass on this one, guys.
Starting this week I’m getting pulled into contract negotiations + kickoff for a 300-employee client working with us on NIST/DoD compliance and it’s going to eat my weekend. All-hands-on-deck type of deal. Had a feeling this was going to happen but just got confirmation today. Running a lean operation has pros and cons - normally being the boss is a cheat code but not this weekend.
Super bummed, but looking forward to hearing all about it and seeing some pictures. Hopefully I can catch the next one. Don't have too much fun without me...
Resisting the urge to say “good enough for government work” within earshot of .gov employees has always been borderline impossible for meI don't miss those days. Enjoy! (Pick a good spot for lunch.)
Howdy, just now seeing this... I will try to be there. Just got back from Italy, so there shouldn't be other plans.Yes. He's an OG from way back. I hope he sees this. Up near Applegate I believe.
My family cemetery is across the road from Butte College (Clear Creek cmte). Not far from there.I lived in Paradise for a few years too. Used to be a cool little town prior to the Camp Fire.
I have driven past that cemetery multiple times. I know a couple families in the Butte Valley area.My family cemetery is across the road from Butte College (Clear Creek cmte). Not far from there.
Welcome home, hope you had a good trip. Please stop by and say Hi.Howdy, just now seeing this... I will try to be there. Just got back from Italy, so there shouldn't be other plans.
Thats great news, we are glad to have you.Ok, cleared the calendar, I will plan on being there.
Glad you're feeling better my friend. Until next timeI’m feeling better and plan on being there Saturday.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make dinner with @Optimus🤖 on Wednesday.
What? It snows in California??Ok, update…
Just FYI Optimus was not able to make it across the sierra mountains & make he’s way up to northern CA due to weather conditions and road closers. (Let the flocking begin. But I think he just needs a taller lift & larger tires!)
Dinner tonight at Bennett’s is still on. 5:00.
What a shit show! Of all the days in the year, Tehachapi pass gets 10-15 inches of snow with 60 mph winds last night. 2:00 a.m. was the start of the worst of it; had I left one hour earlier, it would've been doable. I could've slept in the truck on the side of the road or headed back to Barstow to camp out for the night, but I wouldn't have made it to dinner. Arrival time would been closer to 9:00 p.m.Ok, update…
