FordPass says truck is in deep sleep mode. Been driving all day? Anyone else get this message? I started it up and checked the battery connections. Should I be worried?

I also noticed truck doesn’t have any type of battery gauge ( or I totally missed it).

I got this message a few weeks ago, don't understand why. Now my truck sat for a couple of days, like it always does and it's never done that before. It since has sat for the same amount of time, if not longer and no message, so got me:rolleyes:

I got that message not to long ago. But believe that was my son who didn’t close a door all the way and didn’t notice. With that said, I’ve had to unplug the module and plug back in once to reset it. Easily done behind the passenger rear seat. Fold down the seat, remove the cover (can remove one of plastic rivets), and can unplug and plug back in. Worth a shot

Same here. I received the message a few times. Had the dealer look at it, and they said the charging system and batteries all looked fine. I have not received it in a few months now.

No mine does that alot....and owned it 18 mos

Any updates on this… just curious as mine is doing all the time even though truck is always driven and do not think issue is with leaving any lights or doors open.

Extreme cold weather? I’m in CA now, got these messages via Fordpass a few weeks ago…. I never considered low 30’s to be extreme.

Interesting… we are mid 20 at night and 50 during day…

It’s normal. I get this message all the time. My Tremor is 1.5 years old now and I only have 5500 miles on it (I have a free work car with free gas). Since I never drive it I use the remote start schedule to have it start a few times a week. That helps but I still see the message.

It was -15 here this morning and my FordPass remote start worked normally. I have never received the sleep message (knock on wood).

I still get this even with scheduled starts. Pain in the ass!!!

My remote features always works via fob it only “kills” from the app. First world problems ha ha.

I’ve been 15 below and never seen this one. Lol.

I wonder if this could be related to battery health. I would be curious to know if those that get the message have batteries on their way out or weak and/or dying batteries.

Since keeping mine on a charger anytime it’s at home I haven’t gotten this message even in the cold down to around 0°F.

I have had motorcycle batteries last 10 years after doing the same thing with them so I know it promotes a healthy battery and extends a battery’s life span.

I am in Ontario Canada.
There is no rhyme or reason to mine going into DSM. Hasn't done it when super cold outside.
Dealer says nothing they can find wrong.
Truck starts with ease with the key after being in DSM. I just got a notification now, 9:50pm, that it went into DSM. So I went outside and it started with ease with the key. Was just driven 3hrs ago.
The criteria is 9.5v or less...I call BS.
The app fails, schedualed starts fail due to DSM too.
I don't have remote start.
Gonna tell my dealer to install a new battery tomorrow.
This is BS.
There is no way a battery that reaches 9.5v can rebound to 12v by simply unhooking it. More BS.

I hope my batteries are good the truck isn't even a year old.
