Has anyone found a black out 6.7L badge for our trucks? I have the 2021 Lariat Black package on order, so I would like the diesel badge to match the others. I am going to cover up the chrome handle on the tailgate, as well.

I will paint my badges if that is the only option...

Maybe a bit pricey:

I thought I would want to change mine to black, but so far they don't even bother me. Do you have a plan for your exhaust tips? I was going to paint mine with a high temperature paint meant for BBQ grills, but the guy at the muffler store told me it would probably still flake off, so I didn't do anything yet.

LMAO that price

That is an option, but then our 10K engine package succumbs to the same fate as our 7.3L brothers who are longing for descriptive badges on the sides of their Tremors. (See the 7.3L Engine sub-forum)

On a serious note, was there holes you had to patch?
It does get mistaken for the 7.3 now. I also took off the tremor badge and I feel it gets overlooked from its other tremor brothers. But I just like the murdered out look. For the badge they are just stuck on there. No holes worry about.

I am planning to paint my exhaust tips black as I have with other trucks in the past. The paint might flake off with road debris, but they are easy to touch up, so I will paint them with high heat black and see how it goes.

e bay link they are $58

For $58, I will just buy these...

How hard was it to remove the factory emblems and what did you use to do it? Heat gun, etc?

They are attached with like 3m tape so heat gun would be the best option and use a blade to remove all the adhesive but with it being new the heat gun should be able to get it off really easy no blade needed

I painted mine, and so far no problems. I used the high temp 2000 degree primer, paint and clear. If it flakes down the road I’ll just sand and paint again lol.

Buyer beware I purchased eBay emblems like this 4 months ago and all my emblems are shot. I’m going to attempt to attach pictures to show what they look like today. I’ve contacted the seller multiple times no response looks like I’m out my money. Not the same seller however.

How long have you had them and how are they holding up? @wgs4972’s do not look so good, but he might have bought a different version of them.
