TRADE WTT: 2020-2022 Star white King Ranch tailgate

I figure this is a long shot but was curious if there’s anyone out there with a 2020-2022 Heavy Duty KR tailgate in Star white that has the appliqué?



I have the small KR insignia since I went with painted bumpers but I love the look of the big appliqué.



I’m located in 34997 (SE Florida) and would be willing to travel a considerable distance if we could make something work.

I actually like the one you have better. Can’t help you with the tailgate as I have a lariat.

What’s funny is I have always been a no chrome guy. If I ever bought lariat I’d have to have BAP and if I bought a platinum or limited I would have to immediately paint match the appliqué. But for whatever reason I absolutely love it on a king ranch. Wish you could have had the option to pick what tailgate you wanted.

Being star white (I have star white) I would be a little nervous swapping tailgates if there was any different tint from one truck to another. Not sure if that’s a valid concern or not.

Starting to realize that. I’ve considered making little cards with contact info and what I’m looking to do and then leave them under the wiper when I come across one.

I’d be interested in the price of trying to source it through a dealer but would love to know if anyone here knows a dealer that would be more reasonable than straight MSRP

You realize the odds of another tailgate matching are slim. You may realize this, just throwing it out there. White is one of the most difficult colors to match.

I definitely get what you’re saying. If it was a door or any other panel that would be side by side with with another white one I’d probably be more concerned. With it being the tailgate and being framed in by taillights and the stone grey bumper I’m not sure it will matter as much .

But maybe I’m wildly off base with my assumption

You might want to think that through. I'd suggest NOT doing that. Some people might not appreciate waking up on a guy "messing" with their truck.

Appreciate the concern for my safety
