Why did you pick the tremor package?

An F-250 with a lift, 35’ tires, good looking rims, off road capable, towing and raptor style running boards??? What more would you want from the factory? Getting window tint and bed cover tomorrow and I’m avg 19.9 mpg vs 17 mpg with the gen 2 Raptor I replaced it with. I love my Tremor!

Hmmm, this is what Google produced when I searched that.
Is something like this what you are reffering to?
I like the iKamper hard cover tents. I first saw them with Last Line of Defense vids.

19.9 MPG? How? Driving downhill everywhere? I am at 11.8 MPG after my first 1400 miles

Gas? Diesel?

I have been really happy with my highway mileage, and with good wind, speed limit and traffic conditions can get past 20mpg, but mix in the city driving and my overall is down to about around 15mpg overall.

Good info here, BUT...I'm in process of buying/ordering the Tremor, does anyone use a truck camper, not a trailer, in bed camper? I cannot for the life of me fine the camper certification option on the Ford build site? I have seen pics on this forum with in bed campers on Tremors but my dealer wants me to have camper certification, and yet online if you select any of the camper options packages, it deletes the Tremor package?!

Almost seems like Ford doesn't want in bed campers on Tremors??

UPDATE: Finally got in touch with Ford Chat. They do not offer camper package for the Tremor, plain and simple. They suggested asking local dealer about aftermarket options, well don't need a dealer for that- so just go put in your own electrical plug in the bed

Truthfully, it dates back to my childhood. When I was very young, my parents had a GT500 Shelby convertible. I always wanted to buy that car back. Ironically, it's for sale. He only wants $270,000 for it. Anyway, I saw one of these on their website, and it was the closest thing I could think of to a super duty Shelby. Every time I look at it, it screams super duty Shelby.

Been looking for a truck, something I could own for 10 years minimum with little to no issues. Drive it, enjoy it, use it, do the required maintenance, that's it.

The 2015 GMC Denali 2500 6.0 gasser was a dog and to me boring, ended up selling. Looked at a 2014 Raptor which sold before I got to look at it. Had seen the Tremor I have now at a local dealership and was curious. I happened to see the TFL video showing the capability of the truck and that it had a gasoline engine. After looking into the engine, I had to try it, huge V8 with pushrods (I knew it'd be torquey). Looked at 7.3 Lariat F250s but wanted the goodies of the Tremor. The Tremor I bought didn't have the Lariat package or the nicer bits but it had the aesthetics and engine and upgrades I wanted. A brand new truck with extended warranty, bed liner and undercoating, rust proofing and the pushrod engine should last me a long time. I have want for nothing as far as this truck is concerning, meets all my needs, potential needs, and then some; perfect!

Because no one drills oil wells anywhere close to a paved or graveled road. And no one needs me out there unless its muddy or snowing. Tremor fits the bill without having to deal with the aftermarket.

I ordered because it’s the best looking truck in the market. Small lift, 35in tires(no changing speedometer to put 35 on it) off road capabilities and drive modes, can pull or haul most anything, oh and it has a old fashioned v8. Can’t get better!

I hear that! :D

I was wondering why everyone else picked this package? Other places on the internet, folks would not pick this package and I thought I would like to know what made you guys pick it?

I will tell you why I picked it. It checks a lot of the boxes on the first things I do to my super duty trucks( I have had 2, 2011 and 2015 both 6.7). I level them and install shocks, leave the stock wheels and installed either 295/65/20 or 35x12.50x20 tires. I live on and travel dirt roads and sometimes it's like off roading just to get to work. Lets not forget how cool these really look as compared to a none tremor. I feel that I would have spent almost as much money (not to mention time) just to get the look. Throw in a lot of other features like limited slip front axle and rock crawl, mud and snow mode, it makes for a no brainer to me.

Side note I was going to skip the sport package as well and do a lot of it myself. My wife said I was being foolish not getting it from the factory. I changed my order two weeks later!
I’ll echo a lot of the responses on here. The main reason I ordered a Tremor was that the Raptor only comes with that tiny little bed. I spend a decent amount of time at my camp in the north central part of Pennsylvania in the mountains, so the off road ability is a must (especially in the winter and spring). It’s a decent poke to there from my place so the durability of the diesel coupled with the upgrades I would do anyway, made it a winner for me. I also waterfowl hunt a ton so the extra room in the bed for dekes, kayaks, gear, etc, was a huge plus too. I’ve been looking for that (hopefully) 10 year truck that is a Swiss Army knife of a vehicle that can do just about anything fairly well and I’m not sure I could dream up a better build than this. Oh and with the Lariat Ultimate Sport package, they look pretty badass too!
