What’s your favorite mod and why ?

Detaching the lumbar cable in the seat back and bending the headrest. Truck was undrivable before that.

For peace of mind… ARB twin compressor. Having air anytime, anywhere is such a comfort!! 😇

For daily practicality, my A pillar LED lights… these are so helpful when trying to see dark areas on the ground and make turns at night.

BD squadron lights in place of the terrible halogen fog lights, best improvement to this truck. Now I can see when I leave at 3 am to get in the deer stand early.

I've been thinking the same thing with all the sophisticated lawlessness happening these days. I also think the measure must be randomly unique yet convenient.

What are your thoughts or what did you do?

Please advise. Thank you for your time!

Diamondback HD system including Builtright molle panels. The ability to organize the bed with it has been my most favorite experience to date.
Same here, don't have the molle panels in the bed yet - although I like the one I got in the cab. I love my Diamondback HD cover. Did you just use the regular tech panels on the underside? Might have to steal that idea!

This is one tough question as there are so many worthy mods.

For me I would say the Retrax power pro MX bed cover. I have been using these for the last 10 years or so and think they are the best mod as it gives me full use of my bed, bed security with some level of weather protection.

Now I will say that on my ‘22 I have and am still experiencing significant disappointment with Retrax as it seems their QA/QC has gone down the proverbial 💩’er. I am on my 3rd unit and still don’t have one that works.

1st one had broken plastic end caps and dented can upon unboxing. Box was in perfect condition. My Distributer replaced the unit.

2nd one the motor assembly had a bolt cross threaded. Retrax shipped me a replacement 2nd day FedEx

3rd one the electric actuator arm is loose/broken so it doesn’t open/close properly. Sent pics and video to Retrax and pending response.

All this said a retractable bed cover, not folding is my favorite mod to date even with all the issues I am having with Retrax quality this time around. Previous Retrax units on my other trucks were flawless.
That sucks about your retrax! Mine has been flawless on my 22. I agree the power retractable is at the top of the list!

I want to say the bigger fuel tank for the 7.3 but because of Commieforna compliance we are still waiting for them to be released.....are they really gonna sell that many units in CA that it justisfies delay releasing to the other 49 states?
What company is making the larger fuel tanks for the 7.3?

Transfer Flow. You can follow along here on the forum with this thread:

Current understanding is that it's awaiting CARB certification before being able to go on sale. There has been no indication that any other company is making a replacement tank for the 7.3L.

55 gallon Atlas Fuel tank. Had the factory tank replaced before I picked it up from the dealer.

Curious if you ever have issues with your bed rug going between the tailgate and the box. I see the flap in the picture on yours the material between the tailgate cover and the bed cover is folded up, mine always goes down between the tailgate and bed. Then the tail gate won't open unless you push on it. curious if you found a trick to keeping it from going in that gap.
I have had four bedbugs and they are always tight at first. I tried training them to stick upwards when the tailgate is closed but gave up on that. Just close in the gap for a while and it will press down with use.

Diamondback sells these panels. They partnered with Builtright to make them custom for the cover.

Can you elaborate on ”bending the headrest”? On occasion while I’m waiting on my wife or I’m early in school line to pick up kids I‘ll lay back the drivers seat for a power nap, but the way headrest lean forward makes it impossible to lay your headback - it forces your chin into your chest? Looking for a solution for this or recommendations of good market headrest?

A delete would be my favorite mod but the feds think otherwise.

Sad part is, a delete is actually far better for the environment than a ton of plastic DEF jugs and the infrastructure for the creation and transportation of all of the emissions components.
