Smacked the back of a low boy trailer on I95 today because I wasn’t paying attention right after rolling over to 40k miles. 🤦‍♂️View attachment 142512
Aaaaand finally, months later, back together. Rockauto parts FTW.

On a side note, when getting it painted I learned that there are 3 versions of Carbonized Grey. He went with the most popular so I guess it’s close enough

No lights going back on the bumper?

‘Variance’ is what it’s referred to. A good painter will shoot some coupon proofs and check them in the sunlight and then make the choice.

Tell me more about that power connector, link?
Depending on the rearview mirror features, power can be tapped from the connector.

Search the forum for "Dongar" to find discussions.

Plus there are lots of copycat products

Garmin mini 2 and an Amazon mirror power connector

Something weird going on with the power adapter.. Bluetooth phone calls are now barely understandable and fuzz in and out. I have the usb connection for the power adapter inside the black housing on windshield behind the mirror and I guess the Bluetooth receiver may be there as well

Installed the Course Motorsports charger/magnetic phone holder.

Been debating on getting one of these as well but was wondering if it would block the view of the infotainment. Have you tried it on both sides of the infotainment and if so, which way seems better?

Doesn’t block my infotainment on driver’s side. I won’t put it on passenger side, as I plan to put something there for my passenger to use.

Finally did some stuff with Forscan in my '24. Backed up all my as built data and then did bambi mode, changed TPMS, lincoln style folding mirrors and added turn by turn nav back into my HUD.

I noticed an issue. Maybe yall can help.

When I access the bed camera, it's just a blue screen. Doesn't matter which way I attempt to access it.

I have MY24; I have it on driver's side. It does block the uppermost left hand corner (with the phone attached), not really a big issue for me. The bigger issue would be having the phone all the way on the other side of the infotainment screen
I'm very happy with this and clean look of the wired install

Replace Tremor step bracket with Super Duty original ones, lowering the steps a good 4 inches. Theses are to high for an old guy like me.
Anyway, beside for the look, I don't know why they are so high. Looking under you can see that the gas tank will hit before the steps.
Got them on ebay

I’m seriously thinking of taking the plunge on this, I love fast food when I travel during hunting season.
