I think I've just been so set on getting the morimotos and these are so different. I think I'll have to give it time and see if I come around to them. I feel in person the black is very plastic looking and maybe a tad on the cheapish looking side. They did show in the pamphlet that they are paintable just not sure I want to spend more money on paint when all I'm looking for is just black/tinted taillights.

They do look rather plastic. 🤷

Got everything ready to do some maintenance!

Driving from Texas to Florida overnight last night on some backroads around Houston I decided I’m not at all happy with the light output of the diode dynamics sae fog lights and driving lights. Fog light output is almost worse than the stock led lights and the ss3 driving lights do not give me any confidence for doing 65 on a backroad at night in the rain with a trailer…

I’ll probably ditch them for Baja designs. I don’t even know that I’d want to sell the diode dynamics to anybody on here because I’d feel like I’m ripping you off

Installed these oracle taillights today not quite the biggest fan of them, they were a birthday present and I didn't have the heart to say I didn't like them. I'll have to see if they grow on me, I figure worst case I'll throw some morimoto tails on. They Are Bliss compatible as well so I'll be testing it tmm to make sure that function still works.
I like them a lot

You can take the bezel off and paint match, that’s the whole point!!

Do you have sport or pro version?

Consider RIGID, the best IMO!

I installed the Gate King tailgate adjusters today. I hope they allow me to have two dirt bikes in the bed with the tailgate locked out most of the way up and still clear the electric tongue jack on my camper, I'll find out Tuesday lol. You do have to remove the bottle opener brackets on the side of the tailgate in order for the arms to clear but other than that they went on pretty easily.

Can’t go wrong with rigid or baja design. Both industry leaders. I’ve had excellent experience with baja design customer service and warranty.

I know I've been contemplating the last day getting it painted AMB just gta see if I really like these before I drop some more money into paint. Also afraid to find out how much those will cost. As it is I just dropped over $800 on paint for the fender flares amazing what body shops charge. Also not sure if having them AMB or a gloss black would look better. Wondering if AMB would be too much paint match or not. Still not convinced I'm a fan of them

Why they have to have their name logo across the light. They’re not paying you to advertise their lights. Go back to factory and invest in some rear lighting.

Hauled home a pallet of pine bark mulch. 56 3-cubic foot bags. Little utility trailer doesn’t have brakes. Truck can barely tell it’s back there.

Now if someone with some 3d printing skills could fab up a cover to hide the opening in the hood liner where the factory light would have gone...

I installed the Platinum trim side console leather trim pieces. The bronze thread when dyed with the Graphite Rit Dye turned out a little darker than the grey stitching of the Lariat trim but it works because it's damn near the same color as the leather itself. No more squeaking when my knee rests against the console now! It's always nice to be able to ditch some plastic and this certainly helps to dress up the interior some as well.
