WeatherTech, Husky or.....

I’ve owned weathertech and husky in the past. This is my third vehicle with tuxmats and they have been great. They cover so much more area, are softer and not slippery. They’re TPU like a lot of phone cases, and the texture that makes them look more like fabric is simply molded in.

The fit is spot on with all the contours, and they wrap around the sides of the seats in both the front and rear. Very easy to clean, too.

Rear has excellent coverage, collects all the kid crap, dirt, and dog hair, and they protect the door sills.

Ditto. Have them as well after having Weathertech in my previous rig. Tuxmats look so much nicer. Winter will have to show if they are tough enough  :p

I keep coming back to these TuxMats after seeing them mentioned here (maybe was even this post) as I haven’t pulled the trigger yet on the Weathertech HPs for the truck.

Given I ordered the King Ranch; I kinda like the idea of the cocoa colour matched ones for the truck, as well as the option to trim them so the sill plate is fully visible instead of half covered…

On the other hand, the TuxMat looks good even if it’s just black, and having the fully covered sill plate is better than a half covered one…

Decisions decisions decisions.

I think you won't regret going with the Tuxmat.

Do any of you know if there's any difference in TuxMats fit?
I have carpet delete and just want to make sure they fit. I got to look at the truck yesterday and looks like 2 pegs on both driver side and passenger side. Are the carpet trucks the same?

Unfortunately I can’t answer for sure, the pegs are there on the carpeted, so I suspect that in that regard they may be the same.

The one thing I would potentially reach out to TuxMat if you don’t get an answer here is that the TuxMats are held in place by additional clips that tuck into the seams of the moulding and may use Velcro clips that stick to the carpet (early model F-150s use Velcro on the carpet to hold it in place- may be the same for the 250/350). You may have to replace the Velcro on some of the clips with double-sided 3M.

I tried sending Tux a message twice and all I got was AI answers which didn't answer anything. I looked around there site and didn't find a phone number. I'll do some more digging. thanks

If those pegs are also on the carpeted trucks I'm sure the mats will work great.

I secured the tuxmats using the provided Velcro clips to various trim pieces. The driver mat uses the two OEM pins/pegs. There’s no need to attach to the carpet. Shouldn’t be any issues with your carpet delete.
