Upgrading my tires

We just replaced the stock tires with Goodyear Duratrac RTs. This seems like an upgraded tire from the originals as it runs much quieter and didn't have that "squishy" feel during the first thousand miles. We are towing a fifth wheel and these got good marks for towing/hauling.

Not a Goodyear tire fan. There are much better tires on the market IMPO like Toyo, Falken, and Nitto based on your needs.

Does anyone have any personal experience w the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T tires? Great reviews, but who knows what to believe on other websites? I live on a unmaintained dirt road off the beaten path in southwest CO, so I need true 4 season capability as well as off pavement performance.
Thanks in advance and good luck to the OP w all the great ideas on here.
I have run 2 different sets of MT Baja Boss on my Tremor 350, and so far great experience all the way around (about 105,000 miles on my 2024). I have found them to be the best A/T in very cold temperatures due to their soft compound. They will not last as long as other brands, but I have found them to maintain their capabilities very well as they wear.
Be careful as there are differences in maximum psi, that do impact feel with heavy towing (about 75% of my miles are towing). My first set were a max of 80psi, whereas this last set (one size wider) dropped down to max 65 psi, and it does not tow as well.
I was in rush to get them replaced, so went with them but in the future will be gong back to 80psi max tire.

I tow every now and then. But it’s not on a regular basis. The cold weather performance is very important to me. Thanks for the info.

I have the new Toyo AT3 on my truck now, they look good but I haven’t been impressed. I’ve ruined two tires on this set and I do not take this truck through near as much nasty stuff as I did my previous trucks. Maybe just bad luck but my other Toyo’s went through some nasty brush and survived. And I forgot to mention they are loud. I’m not sure what my next set will be honestly.
I’ve had ridge grapplers which seem way too soft for a diesel, they wore quickly and did not like the rocks. The RT’s are unbelievably stiff but a tough tire.

Just got the Toyo RT pros, let’s see how they do compared to the MT Bajas

I'll be interested in your experience with these tires, especially over time as they wear. I'm considering these instead of the AT IIIs for my next set.

I will throw in Yokohamas. I have ran different models for years now. Currently, have the A/T4s in 305/70R18. Made in Japan and kick ass and wear very good and evenly. Great tires, look into Yoko's.

thoughts on the Falken Wildpeak R/T for stock rims, no lift on a 2024 F350 Tremor

I've heard they're not really good in rainy/ wet conditions. Me living in NC, that's every other day. My next set is either the Toyo AT3 or the new Nitto Terra Grappler G3.
I’m deciding between these two as well. What did you end up getting? Current thoughts?

Different use, same tire. The Nitto lost all wet driving confidence at the door after 20k miles in my Jeep GC.
