You’re right though just about any camera that integrates with your factory system will probably work fine.

I did have some follow up questions about your toilet. What size do you have? How does it fit in the ST and is there anything you don’t like? I was really thinking about getting the new smaller Wrappon but the Trelino looks pretty slick.

I really need the weight of the camper now! Just had the rear Deaver springs installed a couple days ago. Sure hope my camper is heavy enough to level it out and let the springs & shocks work as intended. Unloaded the rear sits much higher than I was expecting.

That looks about like it should. Add camper and it should still have a very slight rake unless loaded heavy. Mine with my camper is perfectly level, which is great when not completely loaded down or with a trailer in tow. Not so great with 500 lbs of extra gear in the bed, a couple extra bodies, and 500 lbs of tongue weight!

The Evo M fits in the supertramp toilet/shower box easily. Christoph even added a customized teak platform under his. He measured for me, as we were considering the Evo L, but it was too tall, so we went with the Evo M.

As mentioned in another thread, we experimented with home made separating toilet last year which convinced us we like it over a portable toilet that combines liquids and solids and makes sewage. The nice thing about a separating toilet over the Wrappon is liquids don't require the expense and trash of bagging. Just pour out.

There are a lot of similar separating toilets. As long as the dimensions work, they are all about the same. There were a number of ones that would work but we knew for a fact that the Trelino Evo M would fit, because of @Chris-DTA's first hand experience, that we pulled the trigger on that one.

Trelino does a lot of sales. Some better than others. If you sign up, they give you a pretty good coupon right off the bat. I think $30 off. Then they seem to constantly have sales. Normal price is $450. They currently have it on sale for $430. Then I think any coupon you have is on top of that. Right before BF, they had it on sale for $55 off which put it at $395. Then on BF, they had it on sale for $385, which was the best I'd seen so we nabbed it. But, if it's on sale for $430 and you sign up and get a $30 coupon, that would put it at $400 so not far off in the big picture of camper expenses. Ha.

I don’t, but I just watched a bunch of videos on them today. Not only do they have a lot of extra room but they also seem really well made and versatile.

The fact that you sleep E/W like in a “real” camper is a huge advantage. After owning a couple wedge style camper’s, GFC and AluCab while the tilting beds are handy it’s much more user friendly to be able to move around “downstairs” while someone else stays in bed.

I would say a Tune camper on a Tremor would offer you a massive amount of liveable space. In fact we sort of just had this discussion over on the Supertramp thread on ExpoPortal. Seems the demensions of a Tune on a 6.75’ bed are nearly identical to a Supertramp Camper. And being a ST owner I’ve gotta say it’s massive.

If i was shopping for a camper in a topper style the Tune would be at the very top of my list.

Ugh.. I am currently that^^ guy. Waiting to get a final weight before ordering springs. Until then Im driving around and get flashed 4000 times daily when I drive at night..

@PJPVI truck looks great man. The silver truck / grey wheel combo is a favorite of mine.

Deaver always nails the weights. What was your lead time? Once I know my weight, I can go with one of "Carli's" XXD series which I believe are made my deaver or go direct, which I will likely do if I am smack dab between the preset weights from Carli. @PJPVI what made you go straight to deaver vs Carli?

I overestimated the build out weight on my personal sprinter 4x4 and it drives like a dump truck, hence why I am driving around like a gangster at the moment. Hearing plates and beers in the fridge rattling makes me absolutely bananas...We make a damn good campervan but I just cant stand the noises and the lack of power, hence my big ol F350 with no passthrough I need to get them swapped out but dropping $1600 is nauseating.

We ship stuff mostly out of SoCal but we no longer do installs. Gave that part of the biz up in May in order to focus on full time travel (in my Tremor) and growing the Ecomm biz. Plus a few other ventures.

If you are in socal, I can dealers around that can & have done tank install for us now that we are out. If you are looking to get it done in a different state, I can also recommend some independent shops and ship there.

But if you want to do it somewhat close to you, I would buy from OK4WD & install there. Good people.

Hahaha. Gotcha, no I won’t be in SoCal anytime soon, at least not with my truck.

I actually know Jim and Rin at OK4WD very well. My Khaya came from them and during the install they could not have treated me better. As they were installing and testing it they found a water leak and since it dragged out the install Jim paid for a hotel room for me and lent me a shop truck for the night. That’s a top notch operation, I hadn’t thought of using them for a tank but that’s a great idea. Thank you!

You can also snag a new wrappon while youre there and save on shipping as they are the importer for that too. ( I should stop while I can or else Ill have nothing to sell.... )

Hahaha. OK ships free, my old Wrappon came from them, the Green one, and a fully kitted WT-4 has been sitting in my shopping cart on their website for a few weeks.. I’m waiting for some kind of sale lol, or just being indecisive.

You had asked earlier, I really like the Trelino. It is simple with this toilet and like @Chadx mentioned, it has the advantage of separating #1 and #2. I am not sure if I keep buying the Trelino bags. Amazon Basics has bags that fit the toilet well and cost only a fraction compared to the bags from Trelino. I do not like the way how the urine tanks gets emptied. It is a big, round opening in the middle and you have to move the container in all 4 directions to get it all out. I am tempted to drill a hole into it a bit more to the side and add another drain valve/lid of some sort. But it is a minor piece about it. Buy enough replacement membranes for the lid of the urine canister. I am not waiting 6 months to replace them (I think that is what they recommend).

What I "love" about the Trelino - it is so light-weight that I take it outside when I am out and about and do my business while enjoying the views ... don't judge me.

Deaver did my full suspension setup on my 2005 E350 Sportsmobile about 15 years ago. I was one of the first E350's they did and were fantastic to work with with great results. For the F250, due to time constraints, I estimated my loaded weight. I'm remounting the camper tomorrow and will probably go get weighed next week to see how close I was. If I'm close, I'll just leave it. If not, I'll live with whatever it is for my 3 months in Mexico then fine tune when I return. Jeff is absolutely great to work with at Deaver. I ordered early December (or late November) and arranged a January 3 install. He was actually ready weeks ahead of schedule but I wasn't. Carli has a 2000 lb and 3000 (or 3500 lb) spring pack and I'm guessing I'm going to be around 2500 lbs. I gave him the Carli part number for the 2000 lb pack and he upsized it for another 500 lbs. It was also a bit less expensive going direct to Deaver and I just had them do the install. These spring packs are really heavy and I'm the proverbial 140 lb weakling so didn't want to do it myself.

I'm looking forward to not hearing everything get thrown around like I have in my van for 17 years, but there will definitely be a lot of things I'll miss about the van.

I think I'll go this direction too, but going to see how I do on my 3 month Mexico trip on the standard tank. The 43-ish gallon tank in the van was always about perfect size. The van got a bit better mileage than the truck does so I may find myself running on fumes more often than I care for in the truck. This trip will be a steep learning curve of the new truck setup on several levels!
