Tremors and Tractors

Here is my orphaned Montana tractor. Company went out of business a couple years later because the parent company LS tractor started selling here. It’s not fast but it does what I need.

That makes 3 of us. Don’t like the backhoe? I don’t have one but don’t know how well they work or read any reviews. So not worth it? Pic of mine when I got it.

Awesome! I don’t know that the backhoe attachment is worth the expense for me. Digging with the machine in a fixed position limits the hole shape, and moving a couple feet to one side requires the same effort to move it a couple hundred feet. A mini excavator is far more productive.

All that said, it sure as hell beats digging a hole with a shovel.

5055e. 90% of the time it’s bigger than what I need for cutting firewood, messing around with food plots, etc. But, I really like this machine.

That’s a igland winch 12,500# pull. It’s set up for either tractor.

You don't need a Tremor. Air bags and a sway bar on the 1025 and you'll be fine.

Yea, I've rented a couple of mini-excavators when I needed some serious digging done, they are great. The backhoe on a tractor doesn't shine a light to them for efficiency and reach, but for everyday use a tractor backhoe is sure pretty handy to have around.

What mower attachment do you have? I'm looking at getting something in the 72-84" wide range... I'm currently looking at Landpride, I have their grapple which is very nice, but open to other aftermarket brands.

It is a 72” Bobcat branded cutter. I don’t know who manufactured it but it’s not a bad implement. I really want a 12’ flex wing as this one is just too small for what I need. I’m leaning towards Modern Ag when I am able to upgrade.

Nonsense! As soon as you buy one, you’ll find something to do with it.

Buddy of mine bought an excavator, and the first thing he did was dig a hole, pee in it, and fill it back in. Just because he has an excavator.

In November, I bought a brand new Kubota MX5400. I rarely use it. Maybe once a week, for 30min... But, the lady that does my taxes told me I had to buy one for a tax write off.

Maybe that could be a good reason for you to get one, too...

The thing about tractors is that they have value way beyond the work they do. Driving around on a tractor with a smile is priceless. And they create family memories, with the kids riding on the tractor, or in the trailer, or maybe getting to drive. Memories of being on Grandpas tractor as a kid last for life. Kids or not, you might need a tractor.
